Groundhog Day again...Groundhog Day again...Groundhog Day again...

And Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and so we are all in for six more weeks of winter.
That actually means you northerners; not us here because we here in Florida in reality have mini winter breaks in between our year round summer weather.
Sorry to say, but true.
And this winter that means yours, it does seem that we have had more than is usual for us.
Really don’t know what to make of that, oh well perhaps it will be explained at a later date, because I really didn’t sign on for winter in Florida, no way, no day, Hah on me!

Some game last night, huh? Go those Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-23, so close, yeah! Excitement went down to the last 45 seconds, just like a made for TV production; and those players looked like the movie kind from central casting, did they seem leaner to you than the previous years ones?
Guess they are all off those steroids, thank heavens!
They really did look healthy slim.
Those commercials were also up to par, but it is hard to believe how their costs have gone all the way up to 3M for a 30 second spot.
When I worked promotion way back in the early nineties we were amazed at a 250K price tag on those thirty seconds.
I suppose just like everything else that had to go up too.
You would almost think that with the way the economy is most would share the thirty seconds, like 15 seconds for Coke and 15 seconds for Pepsi that way they would only have 1.5M bill?
Nah, that’s too much to ask of any product war besides they have been at each longer than most political disputes. Just like Mickey D’s and Burger King I suspect that they wouldn’t know how to share a times spot either.
Better they waste all that money on advertising so that they have to raise the price for us so that we could no longer be able to afford their products; it is a domino theory, you know?
I know, I know those commercials keep free TV free, huh, what's free TV?
Who said that?
Nothing’s for free.
Even if you don’t pay for cable or satellite you more than likely bought antennae, paid for the TV, and also the daily use of electricity to run it, so what’s free?
No people of River City nothing is free here or anywhere we all pay in the long run, as we all know the only sure things in life are: death and taxes.

And we pay taxes to everyone; each and every thing you buy has tax on it including your electric bill just look at it, and so I rest my case.

So please do not despair since even Macy’s is cutting 7K jobs nationally!
They all said it would get worse before it got better and they were right for once…but when is the BETTER COMING people?
We need some light on our horizons.

Sadly I bid you good night to all and to all I wish you a good one.
