Tropical Storm Nana is as harmless as her name portends

We are so lucky when it comes to products that we had purchased in the past.
This time a filter in the shape of a Bull Frog called a Clarifier with a UV lamp instead of chemicals to keep our pond clean, and it had been doing an excellent job until it broke recently causing the pond to appear somewhat green and gelatinous. It seems that not only did the bulb burn out but the whole encasing had been compromised by the shear fact that the seal broke and water had seeped in. But my husband called the home store where we originally purchased it from and sure enough, in these hard times they said bring it in, and they would replace it!
Even when my husband said he couldn't find the box or the receipt, wow; what luck, and the new one has already been installed; something small to be happy about.

My husband was involved in slight incident when another return customer went a little berserk when he thought that my darling was somehow getting preferential treatment, since this angry man did not have his receipt they weren't going to to take his item back. He threw a fit, and my husband suggested that the young refund woman, alone in her department area, for her to contact a manager for her own sake and just to be careful. She complied since earlier she had seen my husband’s retirement deputy badge. Two big guys appeared that were store managers, and magically the man found his receipt and all was well.

On his alone outing he also purchased additional parts to readjust our new rain barrel location and gutter direction. And a few surplus items that I requested, well at least two of them, lavender plants, and for his own desire one more tomato plant of the cherry
variety. And so my afternoon chore was to plant the new additions to our garden, which I did.

The weather here has been more like summer than fall, even warm for us at this time of the year. And that does worry me slightly since the warmer waters in the Gulf are more susceptible for development of tropical storms and hurricanes.
Not a good thing in my book.
The prediction is still for three more hurricanes this month, and it’s already the 12th.
Wind shear seems to be making Tropical Storm Nana not worth my worry.
She should be gone in no time at all.
I really was hoping not to have to go back to my meteorology reporting its a little nerve racking. Anyway, so far so good, and in the case of weather no news IS good news.

Good night to all and to all appreciate little things, any little thing you cane think of.
