... On this day you get to throw back a few... wait that's not right... Do you think about something in the past? No, you can wear something from the past like bell bottoms or other attire from any era you recall.
"Thursday – Recently Thursdays have become known to many Americans as “Throwback Thursday,” because people put up pictures (on social media) from a time in the past, to remind (or to poke fun at) friends." Well. I got that one wrong, but you knew that.
As per: https://blogs.transparent.com/english/the-other-names-of-the-days-of-the-week/
Okay, enough about the days of the week and their nicknames!
Moving on...
Hubby is having his PET scan as I write this to see where his cancer has gone next. The CT he had told about the growth of the left adrenal gland tumor that was poked with a needle biopsy that came back positive for cancer cells.
With the PET scan they will be seeing if the cancer has metastasized further through other organs his lymph glands have a few cancer cells and his bladder looks suspiciously as if it might too with a growth on it getting larger.
Hubby has already conquered lung and prostate as well as skin cancers, he had been in remission for months...!
So far, this week he is back on radiation for the adrenal gland he will have a total of five zappings three already, the last two this afternoon and tomorrow.
If there is more cancer he would most likely also have chemo again, although he has not stopped his chemo pills from the other cancers that he was told to continue.
He has been getting depressed, rightfully so.
I have tried all different ways to have him snap out of it... but he is in the right with those feelings he is going through a lot and I wish there was something I could say or do to help him.
I know, a lot of my age group have had to deal with this before with their spouse or relative, any ideas that actually worked?
Anywho we have been texting back and forth this morning while he was waiting for the space-age meds to kick in to light him up for his scan... He sounds rather content. I think most medical battles are winnable when you know who the enemy is/are.
There are so many plans of attack these days!!!
Allow me to introduce you to the crew...
