Hubby had a unique problem with his Norelco shaver that was a little over two years old, darn the warranty was for just two years!
"We received your unit, and have placed an order for a replacement. Model # S3580/83 is currently out of stock so we are sending you an upgraded version. The model we are sending you is an S5390/81. You should receive an email soon with the details of the order." WOW! and good for them!!!
The only issue was the time frame that concerned Hubby since even with us wearing masks he has been shaving and that was why he was asking them to hurry up with his replacement.
It has been nearly two weeks and the above message came today, they received Hubby's shaver on the 26th, it took a while to get there.
Still, I would consider them a very good company even with the time lag.
Moving on...
Our dogs had fleas, a first for us not since 1987 did we have that issue with any of our dogs, and so we bought Frontline Plus a topical medication for all three of them!
We started with them in January, yes in Florida it was warm enough for fleas in the winter, and we applied the medication after their baths monthly. Although, the littles, Bella and Chance, are bathed more often, and that is fine with the topical medication.
And all their bedding was washed with detergent and white vinegar, and Hubby even sprayed the yard. We do have raccoons and possums and squirrels and neighborhood cats, as well as rodents, as you know that come into our yard.
So any of those animals could have brought them in!
But we could not get rid of them, and we have all tile floors, no carpets and so we called Frontline and put in the claim number, and questioned why it wasn't working. They said sometimes it takes a few months. So after three months, we called again, and they gave us a choice of having them send another three month's supply for each dog or a refund.
We chose another three months supply for each dog, and so they sent it and it arrived two days ago. I had told them that they were getting it applied after their baths on the 29th of the month. So that was so very nice of them to get it here on time.
Another company that I would say stands by their product well and believes in customer service.
Moving on once again...
Today Hubby ordered the two baskets for the two pool skimmers and a better pool vacuum for leaves, and he noticed even though we are Prime members that there was a charge of over ten bucks for delivery... again I suggested calling, this time Amazon, and they explained that being Prime members we do get free delivery, but the one company for the leaf vacuum was not Amazon, but they will refund that item's delivery charge anyway after we receive it!
Hubby again was impressed with the way Amazon handled that!
Good news all around!
And so, we must go, for now ...
I am called Aussie because my Mom asked a sixteen-year-old girl, who had been looking at me, in the crate at the adoption site, that day, what she thought I should be named. And without hesitation, the teenager had said, Aussie! She was just looking, by the way,... so Mom did not steal me from her.
We never did find out the girl's name, and Mom liked the name Aussie too. We have since found out that it is a very common name, but it is still just right for me! My parents think that I am uncommon though,...some might say even unique! I do like that.
I am an Australian Shepherd. Here is an interesting factoid about me, I was supposed to be a miniature Australian Shepherd, but...as you might know, I AM NOT! Although I am now three years old, so I am the baby, though I tip the scales at around seventy pounds, HA! I must admit, a very big one!
I was three months old when Mommy and Daddy adopted me. I had been taken out of a hoarder's home in the Carolinas with my litter. Below is my new PIC that had been taken on the birthday that I share with my Dad, but Dad is much, much older than me!!! I was the first to be adopted, February 16, 2018, his brother's birthday.
Please don't forget me, I am Chance, pictured above, a Bichon Frise! I am six years old, so they think, and the eldest, and I like getting up early with Mom and Aussie. Bella sleeps in with Dad, till after seven most days, even later! I enjoy a good tug-of-war on the ropes that Dad had twisted for Aussie and me, and sometimes even Bella plays too! I was the last to be adopted, on January 23, 2020.
I was wandering the neighborhood for days and then saw Aussie and Bella in their living room window, so I hung out there... The Animal Welfare League checked me out and kept me for sixteen days until I was allowed to be adopted. Good evening?
Now my name of Chance is because I was given another chance, it could be only the second one or perhaps more... The animal control lady came out to see if I had a chip I.D. with her machine, and Dad told her that he wanted to name me Chance. His reason being, that if no one claimed me, I want to give him a second chance! So that is how I got the name Chance!
Easy as Aussie, Bella, Chance, now you got it!
