I went to my neuro's office today in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

Yes, I did one important thing went to my neurologist, Dr. Liliana Montoya's office, and Miguel her R.N. filled my baclofen pump with the Medotronics manufacturer rep. Paul in the room for support.

You see, I appear to be the problem child with this equipment.
I am that 1% that seems to always have something go wrong medically.
Allergies to medication and most recently this pump flipping and a kinked line that is according to what I read is also a 1% possibility! That had to be fixed surgically 7/22/2020!

Any-who, I am once again a total package, healthier that is, with my baclofen pump functioning and full all the way till March 19, 2022!!!
Good to go as the saying goes.

And go I can, walking very well nearly without a walker, wall/furniture walking!
When it, the pump, had stopped I had rubbery legs that did not function!
Miraculously I am as I said before... good to go... but sadly nowhere to go???

Thanks to Dr. Montoya and her medical staff as well as my neurosurgeon Dr. Douglas Hershkowitz who installed and fixed and did both surgeries!

To this day we are not sure what caused the problem.
But what was mentioned is that usually after those months from February to July I should have had scar tissue that would have stabilized the hockey puck-sized one inch thick and three-inch diameter titanium pump that had been installed into me with a catheter that goes directly to my spinal canal to distribute the low dose baclofen!

But I did not!

I asked my neurologist if perhaps I could do stomach exercises to strengthen my stomach muscles. She said gently and carefully.

Leg lifts are preferable and also very gently and carefully.

Moving on...

This morning's sunrise:

Moving on again to...
