So I called the doc, neuro doc, at 9:46 A.M. and her nurse said can I be in there by 10:40 A.M., and I said sure, I think. Hubby's my ride and I hadn't told him yet so there was a split second of hesitation... although he knew I would be calling and that the problem had to be seen in person.
I was taken nearly immediately! We had arrived on time.
The doctor had a student with her and asked if it was alright for him to stay. I said sure.
Miguel the RN who does the filling and tweaking of the pump and has from the beginning in February said apparently by my symptoms I needed an upping by an additional 10% and so that was done.
No more pills, I think was discussed, or one only. Have to check with Hubby, we tease after nearly fifty years of marriage and knowing each other for fifty-four years we have one brain, sad but on occasion, it is almost true, one set of good ears perhaps?
You see, the pills are in milligrams, while the pump distributes micrograms slowly over a twenty-four-hour period!
I see the neurosurgeon in a couple of days and then I will mention the weird popping up of the pump on several occasions!!! Fear of another twisted catheter goes through my mind, which would have to be surgically repaired again!
FEAR!!!
Not a great experience in a PANDEMIC!!!
Or for that matter, I suspect anytime a second revision!
Moving on...
The pres. DJ is taking over our news at noon and saying and trying his darndest to put down mail-in voting saying that 80M mail-in ballots are being sent out without people requesting them, and we all know that is a lie!
Hubby and I have been voting by mail-in ballot for at least twenty years and we had to request them, and some states are not accepting COVID-19 as a reason for a mail-in ballot, his red states I presume!
People still must request them and unless his people or he purposely tampers with them they have always been fine for being counted!
No fraud, unless intentionally by the GOP and their foreign cohorts!!!!.
NBC you are giving this president too much air-time! Day and night, bad form!!!
