As Hurricane Laura passes to our far left as many might think I am doing, LOL, in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

I appear before you ensconced in the clamor of the existence of silence of an enormous WHEW, bigger WHEW, bigger WHEW! Yes, I must not whisper my ecstatics.

As we have been lucky once again in this state of not too lucky land of Florida when it comes to meteorology nuances! And I will be so bold to pray, for I am not a religious gal, but I will pray for the mid-Gulf states of Louisiana and all the way over to Texas for they appear to be getting the wrath of Laura in the form of a category 2 or 3 hurricane!!!

But in true Tobi fashion, I pray my joyous miss is not going to bring a jinx upon my chosen state! For the happiness of NOT needing to worry feels somehow jaded by Laura's chosen pathway to possible, more than likely destruction!!!
Let us all pray!!!

The northern friend of my childhood when I gave one excuse after another why I no longer use our pool, from having a negative reaction to chlorine to having had skin cancer, etc. etc...etc. She said as I kid yearly at the Lawn and Garden Shows that we only redecorate after a hurricane... not too funny but true... anyway she suggested making our pool into an indoor one... and using bromine for a less harsh water cleaning process???
I liked the spin on the positive of another possible negative that we seem to inevitably have too often... not really two direct hits in thirty-four years are not too too bad odds???

This year, as with all of 2020 to add to the horrors we were told by the university in Colorado that we will have 25 named storms! And Geez we are only about halfway through them with twelve named to date. That leaves an unlucky thirteen more... unfortunately, the odds are not great that we would be lucky anymore??? But who knows?

My COVID-19 test was a false positive before anyone said there was such a thing!
And our state for the last 12 days has had numbers averaging under 10%... so I suppose anything is possible!!! Hubby still thinks those numbers are skewed, i.e. 10%.

Moving on...

This morning's sunrise is dusty, Saharan Dust dusty: Oddly enough our protection against Laura and Marco!!!

Bonus pic below by Hubby: walking in our front yard but scared into the street by our fur crew through the window barking!!! A Great Blue Heron! He couldn't see them since he had a mirror view.

And now without any further ado moving on again to...

FOR PRESIDENT & VP NEXT!
