Getting a year older in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

First I want to thank everyone again for all the birthday wishes, and if for any reason I may have forgotten to thank you for the first time please make this that time! Thank you oh so much!

Maybe it's my age or what-have-you but the good wishes began yesterday and I thought that Facebook wrote the wrong birthday date that is until... I asked Lisa-Maree a well-wisher from Australia! Yep, I am in Florida USA and the time difference makes Australia a day ahead! Mystery solved, thanks again Lisa-Maree!

The day hadn't begun so perfectly, little Bella vomited in the hallway and when I went out with the furry crew and came back in there was a wide stripe of doggy doo-doo on my NEW sofa! I first tried cold water since the furniture has special stain treatment on it, when that did not take care of it I tried Dawn, nope, then Oxi-clean, nope, finally the furniture fabric cleaner that came with our white micro-fiber recliners, and that is what worked!
Then Aussie dumped his food and water from his raised table to the floor... by now Hubby was up and so he cleaned that up! Thanks again, Hubby.

And all while a lot of this was going on the happy birthday messages were coming in!
It made dealing with the little annoyances of puppy parenting not so bad somehow.
Oh, how I love our brood of miss-matched rescued siblings.
But as even two-legged kids are they too can be a handful. ( She said lovingly.)

Any-who, the day got better after breakfast that was a wonderful two strawberry pancakes and a turkey sausage patty.

Hubby went out to acquire our feast for tonight's meal that will be shown tomorrow since I am writing before way before dinner today...!

While at Publix Hubby did get us a turkey sub to share for lunch, and I ate half of a half,
saving room for dinner!

Tomorrow will be a bit quieter perhaps, actually, no, since we have all this puppy love we never know what the day will bring, and that's a good thing mostly...they truly are very entertaining with individual personalities.

Albeit, there are times that make that debatable. But that's alright, we have grown older so little mishaps are no longer major ones! Trial and error are how we fur parent, not too much different on how we actually parented our two-legged kids way back when!
And that turned out not too bad... really!
At least our sons are great people.

I am going to take a quick inventory of my faculties, I can see pretty good with both cataracts removed, I can hear as long as you turn up the volume, I can walk with my walker many days on and off in the house that's good right?
Well, today I am the BIG 70 and I am proud of that!
Seven is a lucky number right?
So seventy-seven will be great too!

Oh, me saying how old I am well folks the only cure to getting older is death and so I want to grow as old as I can! As we all should, so I will hear from you next year... again (broken record here) so wear those masks, social distance six feet or more away from strangers, and wash those hands for 20 seconds or longer!

Moving on again to ...

Take it, Bella! ( I am a Maltese Yorkie, a Morkie, and I might be four years old! We are all rescues so no one knows for sure.)I did this so I will be.

Aussie shut it down!

(I am an Australian Shepherd, an interesting factoid I was supposed to be a miniature but...as you might know I AM NOT! But I am now over two and a half years old, so I am the baby HA! I was three months old when Mommy and Daddy adopted me.)

No tail/tale publishing circa 2018.

Don't forget us too!

Easy as Aussie, Bella, Chance, now you got it!
And me Chance, I am a Bichon Frise mix, first I thought Maltese but now I am considering poodle? I am pictured here with Mom and Dad at the Port Charlotte Animal Welfare League! I am five years old they think.
