Forgot to tell you about my day yesterday and so today neuro office visit necessary in my pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

Documentation of what is happening to me, okay???
Again I will take your silence as a yes!

I had a Baclofen pump installed on February 24 due to severe spasticity also due to the Multiple Sclerosis, within a week of March 6th they had to aspirate the surgical site due to fluid build-up so I had that also done at Fawcett hospital as an out-patient. And that was on a Friday within days that hospital had their first COVID-19 case. Lucky not when I was there!

Since then I had a few fillings but at my neurologist office the last one March 18th with the major one for me not to have to come back until August 3rd for a refill...oh well the best-laid plans and all that!

Yesterday, I became numb from my hips to my toes with stiff knees. I just thought they calculated the filling wrong and I was out so I took my pills two 20 mg. four hours apart.
That night my neck hurt bad so I put on my cervical collar for my cervical stenosis and vowed to my Hubby and my old buddy up north to call the doctor in the morning...

My neuro wanted to see me, the call-back was in less than an hour, my appointment was today at 1:15 I got there early and was taken early. They checked my pump with two different mechanical instruments one even plugged into the wall and they could not find anything working, i.e. my implanted pump!!! And so after the manufacturer was called they called my surgeon, but he was in surgery and so my neuro gave his nurse via her nurse her cell number to receive a call back on what next to do???

She, Dr. Lilliana Montoya promised to call me once she hears from him, my surgeon, to let me know what is next. Could be as late as eight P.M. so now I am back on the pills to make sure I have no serious problems of withdrawal from the pump dosing.
Now so far the possibilities are for me to have additional surgery to fix the problem although they will either x-ray to see if the catheter dislodged due to it flipping up recently causing the problem or maybe a sonogram to check for the same thing.

I am in wait and see mode now with weird sensations going on.

UPDATE:  Dr. Montoya called back @ 5:26 P.M. and said that I should go to the surgeon's Dr. Douglas Hershkovitz's office tomorrow anytime between 9-5

Moving on to our horrid state numbers for today!!!

Covid-19 count of cases 12k+ and over 400 deaths here in Florida!!!

Moving on to what matters as well with our election coming up this November...

You can be part of the change from evil to GOOD!!!!
