Not the best afterall.
Called for them to check why our indoor/outdoor weather machine was picking up on a higher than usual inside humidity, and they quoted $19.95 to come and look.
Once here the fellow who said he was an hour away took an hour and a half to get here.
Then he tells Hubby that the initial cost would be the $19.95 plus $49 for the diagnostic machine!
After that he stated it needed its coils cleaned by removing them and using harsh chemicals ( and us trying hard to never ever use harsh chemicals ever again) on them and that can cost well into the several hundred dollars, bottom line Membership $249 +pull and clean a/h $1991=$2240 or $30.24 a month!That is far more than the $19.95 originally quoted!
They threatened that if my husband touches the coils for cleaning with improper chemicals the warranty will be voided! Hubby just vacuumed out the area that was nasty and gross, all clean now!
Every month in the three and a half years we have this new one my husband has cleaned the vent, and we have with all our HVAC Systems our third home in Florida! The last one lasted 20 years!
The young fellow accused Hubby of getting angry about the diagnostic equipment he was angry at the price not the machine itself!
The fellow could not contain himself from mentioning that the screwed shut interior was nasty and gross! Imagine having something sealed up for nearly four years and not touched and having an Australian Shepherd who sheds and normal dust and dirt finding its way into something you had not opened due to no previous necessity!
Any-who, the vault is what the young man felt he should mention in his report.
My husband went to engineering school and in his youth worked while going to college as an apprentice plumber. Both our grandfathers were builders of homes, and we have built and renovated homes for over fifty years too! So we do know how things work inside our home.
This mere child misunderstood Hubby's use of the light on his phone to help the fellow see into the vault, and Austin grabbed the phone from Hubby and put it on movie to show the nasty gross mess! That in the end it only needed a vacuuming to function!
And so Hubby fixed it again!
I sure do hope that I remember never to call BEST HOME SERVICES that in my opinion are the WORSE HOME SERVICES!

Please do for your own sake. I recommend you do that with all possble hires for services. And speak about nasty and gross this read let's Best Home Services know they are just that "nasty and gross" in what it says in numerous reviews! No wonder Austin used those descriptive terms.

I am five years old they think.PS They did have a customer care rep contact me, Bandy or Brandy was her name, I think, and she agreed with nearly all I told her, and said she would talk to management about what happened and I suggested retraining all those people who were nasty and gross handling this matter! The " nasty and gross" I did not use, but Gee that would have been appropriate!
