Where I see a need I suggest, and Hubby understands and helps... the stop between the two doors had unfortunately broken when the carpet was removed years ago and the porcelain tile was put down. My most recent issues had been how bad my hands have gotten and so understanding ergonomics somewhat after all those years of physical, occupational and neuromuscular therapies figuring out safe ways to do things is a challenge. For arthritis and MS grabbing small knobs is sometimes (mostly) difficult and so when Closets By Design replaced my cabinet doors in the laundry room they brought in stainless steel handles and so we were left with six brass ones that I had thought about putting back, but it is a laundry room...so this idea came to me if it was possible to get longer screws were the only thing that was less the five bucks, no other expense involved... that made my ergonomic simple handles just right! So good an idea that we put them also in the guest room, and we have two more left for a spare set! And so I thought I would share. I hope it helps someone else with hand issues.
