The one I posted on Facebook did not move, this one does.
This morning in spite of the heat we ventured out on our boat to go to this yearly event. That has always in all its years has been a swim or whatever mode of water travel you wish from point A the Port Charlotte side to the Punta Gorda side of the Peace River. We have been since moving here on this coast in 1995 been spectators. And that is not to say it isn't just as exciting, but since we have not plunged into the water, we do not know for a fact, but from our vantage point we do enjoy watching the others, including a black Lab this year make to journey across!
The day of this holiday is not over by any means... Hubby went out to pick up dinner at Subway, so very healthy American choice?
Tonight are the fireworks back in town over the water so weather permitting we will go out again on our vessel and see them up close and personal!
Although, Aussie like most pets is not fond of their sound, we will see if that creates a change in plans too, one never knows does one?
Currently with all the none professional people setting them off in our neighborhood Aussie tends to hide under things.
And our boat does not provide any of that comfort for him, of underneath locations.
If for any reason weather or Aussie prevents us from going out later, TV will be running all of the other BIG ones in NY and Washington D.C. so like you we too will get our fill one way or another, true?
