Six month neuro appointment...

Doggy bed search too, National Donut Day and one lone burger from Five Guys that Hubby got with a small frie, but the guy behind the counter scooped a heaping amount more into the bag for no extra charge! And six donuts picked up for National Donut Day at Dunkins in the Publix parking lot. Where Joanne's and Pet Supermarket are too. I did get my Velcro dots and strips that I seem to always find uses for too.
I had half of my healthy bean burger from Scotty's Brewhouse left so I ate that, but also ate some of Hubby's abundant fries, so ashamed, nah, not really! They were delish.

Before that a nurse, Karen, at my neurologist's office suggested that I rest for the rest of the day since yesterday was soooooo busy, I had mentioned it all, and I never really was able to sleep with icing my neck all night due to the RFA, Radiofrequency Ablation and mine was cervical between three facet joints in my neck.
I told Karen the nurse that after here we were on a mission to find Aussie, our mini Australian Shepherd a bed, he has recently been stealing my upright sitting cushion off the bed. I suspect his fake sheepskin mat, and the crate insert are no longer comfortable, and he is a bit too rambunctious to sleep in our bed as many of his predecessors had, so a bed was an important next step. And so Nurse Karen suggested trying Ollie's a new overerage discount store, she said had lots of them on sale in the back she had noticed.

The shopping center called Schoolhouse in Charlotte Harbor, where our Publix used to be and my gym also before Hurricane Charley ruined them, Gold's left altogether a few years after renovating. I had gone back just after that for quite some time until my MS screwed that up with balance and numbness issues.
Anywho our China City is still there, maybe they went in after, not quite sure...anyway Ollie's took over where Publix once was.
Their metal basket deep dish display was difficult for me to go through, with all the dirty/soiled looking discounted doggy and kitty beds, and so I left disgusted, they did not appear too inexpensive anyway, many were thirty bucks or more, and look to me old and worn in my opinion.

Hubby suggested going over to Pet Supermarket where for some crazy reason Aussie goes berserk everytime we go in there! We first tried going in altogether, but somehow Aussie got out of his collar and ran loose into the store, grabbing at things all over and behind the counter even!
Hubby was very angry with him and when caught he admonished him and took him outside into the air-conditioned car to wait for me to choose a bed!
And they had a lovely clean and neat selection and a new sales clerk there helped me, Brye was her unusual name. I told her that we wanted something washable and with a zip out cover to throw into our small stackable washer/dryer combo that we have, our second set of the same kind; love it just right for the two of us.
So she showed me several that fit the bill, all stacked nicely/neatly, and the one that caught my eye was nearly on the top row, of course!
And when she brought it down wouldn't you know it was just right!
Neutral color and furry like Aussie, in fact it feels like his fur like my Mom's mink coat did, petting it might lower one's blood pressure they say.
So I decided that was the one to go home with us, and then I saw the price!
It was $49.99!
One of the most expensive one's they have, and then I remembered the discount card that was mailed to me and that it was in the car with not happy with Aussie Hubby!
Brye offered to go get it, and asked me to call Hubby first to tell him that she was coming.
She arrived back with the 15% off card, and then the higher more expensive price seemed less difficult to reason with, but it is a beauty!
So Aussie adjusted it to make it just right, I think. Now I hope it isn't too small, the salesclerk said her seventy pound dog fits in his and Aussie is about thirty pounds. Below is Aussie's demo in the living room on his new bed, it will eventually be put into our bedroom, probably on Hubby's side since my walker and sliding bed table are on my side.

I think he finally found the right spot!

On that note allow me to be the very first top wish you all a very happy good night!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
