Sabrina the Good Witch called me back today

Actually, that was the first thing out of my unfiltered brain/ mouth when the nurse from the Southwest Florida Pain Center called me back today and said her name was Sabrina, but she laughed and said yes. I am my father's daughter, remembering names through common associations always was how he impressed people by him remembering them. Yep, that was Dad's claim to fame.
Pop TV gal here made sure that Sabrina had the corrected info for my portal about the two mistaken medications, and she took care of it instantaneously, and I thanked her.
No pain, and much gain.

Moving on...

The rest of the day has been fairly uneventful.
Although, in spite of the heat Hubby has spent the last several days pulling the old pilings out from the boat lift; their reuse has already been decided!
They will be for the uprights to a Tiki Hut on the table platform dock down facing the water!
Thank goodness for winches! That has aided Hubby in their removal.
Hubby sometimes mispronounces them though.
Like gulf and golf sound nearly the same, and so does wench and winch, but both things have totally different meanings as we all know. Adds to his charm.
The pilings are the rotted ones that at one time were in great shape being new, but eventually fifteen years after being installed time and tides and barnacles took their toll, they were originally about sixteen feet long, if we recall. So the parts that are left are giving us the remainder of two about ten feet tall each and another two around eight feet each. Two legs will be attached/bolted to the seawall while the other two longer ones will be dug under the land/ soil about two feet to secure them there.
I did look online for the Tiki coverings that are a bit dear in price due to needing five rolls, but so far the whole project is free, so we will see!
Hubby had built a beautiful Gazebo in 2002 or there about, an octagon shaped with lattice inserts and window boxes and a paddle fan inside. I even had created a fisherman weathervane from a golfer one that I found at a thrift shop for a bargain. I had just turned his club up and added nylon line and a hook that I sprayed brass like the rest of him in exterior metal brass paint, looked great perched on that white roof! It too was ten feet by ten feet in dimension. Sadly the whole thing blew away in Hurricane Charley way back in 2004!
So it took this long to decide to be brave enough to put anything down there that extensive, believe me this is a BIG STEP.
Although, the predictions are for a major quantity of hurricanes this year too!
Oh well, a tiki hut?
Sounds so apropos for dealing with that weather issue, hmm?
Another reason to keep costs down.
In a way it is nice to have a project, even if it isn't mine.
Though, Hubby does ask my opinion on the configuration of the roof line.
This thing is so simple in construction that the whole thing will be done in record time.
Of course angle braces in wood will be used, but the roof might be just an open beam structure to place/attach the tiki hut material over, either way solid roof or beams it recommends on their sites, the ones for the coverings that is.
Now, many might wonder why we are not using our palm fronds?
In real life the fakes hold up better, but who knows maybe we could use some of ours too.
Then it would be free, so we will see!

On that note allow me to wish all of you a very happy good night!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
