Hubby and Aussie shopping in Lowe's, in that PIC, just like the Big Boys, hmm?
Actually, it was an up and down type of day for mainly Aussie. We ate both breakfast and lunch at home and then went out. Aussie's vet appointment wasn't until 2:30 P.M. and so that gave us enough time to try and pick up a new Rubbermaid Reveal sprayer mop with container and washable Velcro pad. Our old one, about Geez anywhere from five to nearly ten years old I would think main stick broke off... it had been a replacement for the Swiffer ones that were becoming expensive to use and not so ecologically thoughtful due to buying those disposable paper parts that made you feel like you are cleaning cleaner, now that sounds odd, but in reality you were just making more garbage... anyway we switched to the Rubbermaid one that had the Velcro washable pad instead, more cost effective and ecologically responsible, and you can use your own cleaner products in it not ones that you have no idea about, ya know?
Walmart was listed as one having it in the store.
Hubby called the store and the employee verified they did, and for a mere $9.97 a real bargain, ya think?
So we went there and I was the one decided on to go in, since Aussie was being a "puppy", and not acting very nice in the shopping cart, as a PUPPY, rambunctious is an understatement so after Hubby had already gotten me out of the van with my ride, I went in to pick up the cleaner stick?
They showed me all their mops per se, and even tried to sell me a Swiffer!( Sorry Swiffer, but my feelings are my feelings!)
I tried hard to explain what it was, but they insisted it was not there then. And I argued then why did they say they had it... silence, no answer.
But then a woman who worked there brought me a mop mop, stringy head, you know the type you squeeze out in a bucket, NOPE! She insisted and showed me it said that it was the Rubbermaid brand and Reveal model, damn it did say that, but no it was not the right Rubbermaid Reveal!
It was soooooooooo wrong!
Hubby went into Bed Bath and Beyond himself to see if they had it, and no they said, but they did have the OXO brand similar, but thirty five bucks! Hubby went in and got sticker shock and I reminded him that we had their 20% off coupons and suggested to use that and be done with the find the cleaner machine that was so necessary with a puppy and a wife that spills like no tomorrow due to her MS!
So he paid for it with his cashews that Hubby loves that also are 20% cheaper there with our always additional coupons! Hubby also tried Home Depot next door to Banfield where Aussie's Dr. Knight is.
Hubby was determined though and after Aussie received his final puppy shot we left Banfield and went over to Lowe's, now Aussie was back to his AWESOME SELF, as shown in the above PIC!
In Lowe's they did have the RIGHT RUBBERMAID REVEAL cleaner sprayer mop, with Velcro detachable washable pad for a mere $19.98! So we bought it and returned the OXO to Bed Bath and Beyond that is in the same shopping center parking lot as Firehouse Subs and so we picked up dinner there! Ta DA!
And then we came home and ate our dinners that we both have more for tomorrow left; Hubby's sub and my salad.
