Puppy, puppy, puppy...

Can older types, such as us... people consider their own puppy like a grandchild, i.e. a hairy four legged one, ha?
I say YES!

Since we aren't fortunate enough to have the two legged kind...oh well.
The only reason I am asking is that with this generational thing going on... I do believe that my patience has improved even without being able to spoil him and then sending him home with his parents, as I had always planned to do with our two legged kind... oh well.

My parents were the type of grandparents I had thought I would love to be... love those grands to bits, our sons, and spoiled them as much as you can and then let their Mom and Dad deal with that, us, ha!
My parents bought our sons monthly birthday presents, yup.
Our sons could do no wrong ever in my Mom and Dad's eyes.
And due to that faith they were worthy of that appreciation.

Sad, very sad that my Mom passed away when our boys were just six and ten, and my Dad when they were only ten and fourteen.
They were both in their seventies by then.
I was a product of their second marriages, they were, Mom was thirty-nine, and Dad was forty-three year's old when I was born.

I do wonder if all these older parents today think anything about starting their families after forty as I see so often on TV today?
Geez, I sure hope they stay healthy, since it would be very sad for their children and grandchildren not to have them as long as they could have if they started a few years earlier.
Like we did.
In our twenties.

Although, a lot of good that did, by rights I thought I would be a grandmother by my late forties, or fifties, or sixties... not going to happen!
Children grow up of course and they don't all want to be parents and there is not a thing anyone can do about it, ya know?
I checked with them and we did not have anything to do with their decisions, but some of their friends' children did...oh well.
Funny how that works.

Any-who, so I have decided to be the kind of grandmother to our four legged hairy child, love him to bits and spoil him, but... we have to deal with those results!

I always hear in my head, "that you can't spoil a good child"... sure hope that is right!
Ha!

Silly thoughts pervade this odd brain daily, so what can I say... as always I still have too much time on my hands!

We did order an agility course for Aussie, that should be here tomorrow, but no hurdles allowed until he's older so I have been told, so that will be put aside, there is the upright poles and the tube that he should have lotsa of fun with and of course the hurdle that we will save for later and meanwhile I have also signed him up for puppy training classes that start in April!
Same one that our Bichon Frise, Skipper had gone to back in 2004!
That is where they learn basics and even have their first experience with an agility course, should be fun!
Now with my special situation they will help with that too.

Happy good night to all!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

That's no tail/tale productions, ha!
