Look what Hubby found!

While I have been whiling away the hours with my genuine concern about Hurricane Irma, Hubby too has been doing his do diligence in preparing our lift for its sideways turn of its bunks.
You see, with the Sea Hunt a center console fishing boat it needed a deeper draft to catch water for maneuverability with its higher horse power engine but also a four stroke, 115 Yamaha, meaning more efficient gas user, yes even when we bought it in 2003. The new 2017 50 four stroke Yamaha on the Bennington pontoon boat has a shallower draft and so turning it sideways out of the main canal should mean we can still have plenty of water to go out, got that?
Which brings me to this non indigenous critter, Iguana, that have been seen more plentiful south of here. Another pet allowed to escape or someone tired of and let loose, anyway he/she is only the second of its kind we have seen in the nineteen years in this home.
He/she was photographed climbing on the construction test cylinders that Hubby removed from the seawall that formed an oval where the Sea Hunt's bow used to jut into and my ramp would go onto in to the pontoon boat, now my ingress will be on the large dock. The finger pier has been removed, it was in nasty condition anyway. But Hubby was happy we got the water pump a seven horse power with a two inch hose, a Stanley from Home Depot, bought a few weeks ago not rented, renting one was about the same price, and Hubby has decided on so many other uses for it than just helping to pull out the old pilings, now no longer needed, most were rotted and broke off. He used a winch to help with the pulling after the loosening. So reconstruction or better yet as an explanation, a reboot.
A reconfiguration. Any-who, pictures will eventually follow I suppose.
Hubby took the picture of our green friend here. Guess he knows what I like.

We do not touch wildlife and do no encourage our pet critters to either.
Although, many a possum has intrigues our dogs, but once they snarl at you, i.e. the opossum, with those snaggletooth grin with a snarl to back it up, oh well, no pet parent intervention has been needed.
They are mostly cowards anyway; the possums that is, as many a family dog when all is said and done.
Even those tiny lizards that  are plentiful here in Florida, all of our four footed furry friends do nothing more than chase them, since early on they find out they do not taste very good!

A normal fierce rain storm has come in and it is loud and nasty!
Reminding me of the weather person's update on Hurricane Irma a Cat 3  right now and heading due west, and now she is about a week away from here and they are suggesting we get prepared for any and all possibilities!
Irma could be as high as a four or five category storm as she moves closer in the Atlantic!
Oh darn!
Here is newest five day track:

Irma

Now we should all watch carefully and pay attention!

On that note allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night, and ask you to kindly share all your blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
