Action is in play!

The time is near.
In less than forty-two hours I will be on the way to having a life changing surgery, bariatric sleeve.
One might ask what should I expect from this particular surgery?
For me it is not for vanity, but for health purposes that is why most all do have it, and the reason why I am going through this, I had gone from a BMI of 19 to one of 40!
Hopefully it will succeed in doing what else I feel it should.
No more GERD, or high blood pressure, sleep apnea, or fear of type 2 diabetes that I have held at bay now for seven years with being pre-diabetic.
Also to get to the bottom of why my liver is enlarged, is it due to the obesity or something more ominous? If enlarged losing weight is the cure, and if another problem I will know what it is and what to do or if not to find out what can be done.
Biopsy is pending on the liver, as is the small hiatal hernia's necessity to be repaired; the doctor will decide while in me, laparoscopy-wise.
I will have my answers and that will be very helpful to know what has to be done or not to continue on this extreme health plan.
Living longer than my parents is my goal; neither ever reached the age of eighty.
But I want to attain that ripe old age and beyond!
MS does not preclude aging, since life expectancy is the same as for the general population, although the quality of life is iffy.
And that is another reason why I am trying for the betterment for me; not any different from anyone else.
I refuse to give up!

As I sit in my bed sipping my chicken broth and slurping my flat club soda and looking forward to my sugar free JELLO, orange flavored dessert I ponder why I had not asked Hubby to pick up lobster tails last night for my last meal, ha!
Too late now!

On that lighter note, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
