Dinner is done and...

... believe it or not I'm not missing those potatoes/rice/bread...much!
Veggies galore, and no not a Bond Girl, ha, but the variety is plentiful!
I suppose that's what anyone of the actors who played Bond, James Bond would have liked or thought, in character of course.

Any-who, allowed was homemade meatloaf without panko or other bread type fillers.
Hubby made it the quickie way with simple additions such as dried onion flakes and garlic, and an egg was okay, and Hunts ketchup on top that has none of that bad fructose in it, also instead of tomato sauce, no salt or pepper needed. Along with sides of Brussels sprouts, zucchini, and even homemade Cole slaw with flat club soda for my beverage.
Hubby's sides were mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables with coffee for his beverage.
Eating at home is more often these days.
The best thing is we will be saving money.
After all we just had the BIG additional expense of the new air/heat conditioning system.
But my diet for the next several months will not be conducive to eating out anyway.
Post surgery I will be on pureed everything, and baby food, not even toddler food, not allowed chunks, even at home all blended food will have to go through a strainer too, for quite some time or who knows when, whichever comes first, ha!

Moving on...

I heard from the hematologist/oncologist's office today.
And they set me up with an appointment a week before my scheduled surgery next month.
Apparently, the doctor I am scheduled to see will be on vacation at the end of this month and won't be back until then.
Still worried, but I am sure if it was real serious I would be fitted in?

Moving on again...

The inspection for our brand new heat/air conditioner system was today, but it failed!
Apparently, the inspector could not find the UV cover on the wire outside or some such thing, Hubby's job to go outside with these people, I stay out of things I don't know enough about.
It was NOT a DIY it was a reputable installer with a national company, and when Hubby notified them they are sending someone over here to take care of it today, between 4-8 P.M.!
Whew!
Good reliable people.

On that note of things sure are happening...allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with
you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
