Namesake

I know this is a topic I covered before, but have you researched your own name to see if anything embarrassing or good, bad or indifferent was out there in ether-land, out in the Internet floating around, with or without your knowledge, or that you may have forgotten about?
Any-who, each time I delve into my first titled portion of my identity, not a common name, I usually find very nice new info on mine.
Such as?
I hear ya! Well, not really but let me elaborate anyway; see I knew you were waiting for that, hmm?

Well, there are now more than one actress and an artist and a model/actress also using my moniker, but now also would you believe...even a band in Canada, all guys I might add, with a new song just coming out! Just try putting my non-pseudonym in, and you too will be pleasantly surprised, or not.
So cool! (To me, anyway, you maybe not so much.)

And this from a gal who was not loving her name while growing up in suburbia, USA; it has made me reconsider that feeling of dislike. My distaste for my name that was so much so I made sure our sons had very well liked names and to this day they have always liked them. I even did for a while check periodically. Take that Apple, North, and so many other names that I truly wonder what were those parents thinking? Hope they too will find solace eventually after all they will be going through while reaching maturity.
Hopefully at this ripe old age that I too have finally made peace with those feelings.

That is of having an unusual name and so while growing up it unfortunately used to be a reason for being teased from my peer group; but now that bullying has gone way too far in so many directions of "hate" with absolute horrid meanness what I used to endure is so very minor in comparison to what children go through these days it is at times extremely frightening! Especially when the anger manifests itself in physical harm to the victims.
Domestic terrorism is in the classrooms sadly!
Many campaigns have been forged to spread the word to stop it! So please do!

Moving on...

Yesterday, I had forgotten to tell you that Hubby had taken my concern for our safety during storms to heart and when I asked if there were a way to make my smaller bathroom in the older block and plaster on all four sides portion of our home safe, make that five since that ceiling too is original plaster, and did not need replacing, only one, after we had been hit by the hurricane, enough inner part of the original home except for the one rather small window in the shower/tub area to be our goto safe room? I suggested putting up our hurricane shutter on the tiny window, but in a power failure there would be no light at all in that room, making it daily be a dark gloomy space when not in use. Hubby went to our two main home improvement stores with the mission of acquiring those rippled clear hurricane shutter material to cut to cover that one smaller window.
They were completely out of them right now and had them back ordered for the season. He found though, that they did have a shatter proof 1/4" Plexiglas that was also considered able to do the same job, although too large and would have to be cut to size and costing $65 for the one piece, but a lot less in price than the other that needed tracks @ fifty bucks apiece for upper and lower ones, as well as additionally the cost of the corrugated clear insert, but since the window is the same as our bedroom ones, not size, but in it also being recessed the hurricane clips could be used that we already had, the whole price was just then for the Plexiglas, so he took it!
And installed it and now the bathroom is well lit daily as if nothing is on it at all, but that room can now be considered a safe room, yay!
Our RUN to place if we receive short notice about a tornado!(with creature comforts including: toilet, tub, sink and two seats (toilet, and my bath chair, a better safe place.).

Anyway on this note of making concessions on different things, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe and peaceful good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
