Nothing new

As days go I really haven't learned as much as one should during a day of being awake and in this fine world of ours.
Sad sure, but what can one do?
Everyday is a gift so we are told.
And anyone should know that, but "they" say especially "us" the people with chronic ills and not too clear life expectancy.
No one knows that... that is their own life expectancy; oh and what "one" might ask?

I do believe that "one" and "they" do conspire on the same team, where there is never any "i's" in as anyone who can spell knows, ha!

Any-who, in reality I did learn that corporations in America have deep seeded communications with their public issues.
Humana RX uses robo calls for their reorder on prescriptions and have incorrect information embedded in their messages.
Days ago I called in a refill on my generic cholesterol medication and when I ordered it I was told it was 0 co-pay and 0 charge for delivery, it comes USPS.
But today it arrived earlier than expected with a small charge, after being told there would be none.
When I say early, but not as early as their charge for early, in four days, not the five to seven, but not next day that they charge for; the others are free. Then today they robo called me about a prescription that states no more refills, for my generic thyroid medication that I have been on also for a few years. I counted my pills and I have fifty three pills left, not counting the ones in my daily pill holder I just filled for the week. They made it sound so urgent that I called them as I was beginning the count. I felt they were quite premature and created a scare tactic and that any medication a patient has been on for years is quite easily refilled by their physician, as all of mine are and this particular one had a lot of time left from refilling.
So I called and told them that while being annoyed; consequently I did not learn their reasoning for such things.
(Note: received letter today suggesting a reevaluation of my medications perhaps I should examine more cost effective ones. But all of them are already generic, except Copaxone that there isn't one for. Dumb?)

The other thing I think I learned is that Pfizer has people who do work for them that know obligation, but seem to have speech impediments when they return phone calls and leave messages with their callback numbers.
I had mixed emotions when we arrived home from my neuro-eye doc appointment and I pressed the glowing button on our voice mail on our landline that is attached to our kitchen wall, cordless, but old school, and found that Pfizer had kept their promise to call back, four days after my first request! But their garbled message with a contact phone number made it quite impossible for me to return their call!
Irony? Mal equipment on our end? No,all other calls are clear and able to be understood. Perhaps done on purpose on their end? I could make out that they would try and call again and that it was a masculine voice, but so in reality there I did not learn anything importantly new.

AHHHHHHHH life, and so we go on in spite of its slight lunacy daily. And as long as we do not become a loon, we shall continue on, and remember that we should never ever allow the stupidity of others make us as stupid as "they" can act sound or behave. Hard to sometimes, but we must soldier on and keep a clear head.
On the brighter side I love my new neuro eye doc who is younger than my sons but brilliant and caring, and he wants to keep seeing me in spite of my frankness! So we have an appointment in six months.
And no he did not give me an eyeglass prescription he doesn't do that and said frankly he hasn't done it for ten years and said that it probably would not be accurate, how honest; not verbatim but close.
He said I could go back to my other eye doc or just since I need new glasses try an optician's.
Admittedly my eyes with MS will be fluctuating, as well as with pre-diabetes and thyroid issues thus his availability for my future and current needs.
The only problem is how often my sight changes with these problems and the additional cost of buying new glasses so often.

On that note of another no answer, along with again my 99.7 fever as I write, still as of yet unexplained, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask all of you to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
