Another day another doctor?

Seems that way to me.
Today was the internist's turn, my three month blood work check up day.
My cholesterol was 199, norms 20-180 and triglycerides was 264, norms 30-150 had a wonderful vacation with us and my food choices, since they both are up to no good again in spite of my medication for them, (both up about thirty points from last time)...which might be discontinued after nine years, but only if my creatine kinase triples over the highest limit, right now the norms are 30-223 and mine was only a mere 357, yep a magnum, ha!
I will be retested tomorrow non-fasting to verify it wasn't caused by dehydration when taken during my last week's fasting blood work? I was told I could have non-sugary beverages, but I always seem to forget, oops!
Doc says it has to do with my heart, only a mistake I hope, anyway the rule of thumb is not to discontinue my statin medication unless its number is triple the high range, so I guess I am still okey dokey!
My A1c did go up slightly to 6.0 from 5.8, norms 4.3-5.4, which is considerably less than I had thought it would be with being on the IV Solumedrol again and since I did need to use insulin with that stuff causing a 309 glucose, norm 100 or less, way back in August. Previously it has taken about six months to fully get it out of my system.

All in all I'm not too bad, for someone around ninety who was fatally ill, I suspect, kidding, but then I would be considered great or not?
Any-who, I was asked if I would be interested in having a team for me to access for all these darn chronic ailments to take control of them that is. So I signed a form to have the ability to talk to a knowledgeable person 24/7; are they kidding and do they know what/who they are getting into, the keys to the money bin?

Some of you might be aware of this coalition of good deeders called "the chronic care management program" through our Medicare it is mostly covered 80% except the last 20% that is a charge of $8.34 a month or should be covered by most supplementals, like ours,  the idea is to help with understanding and managing your chronic diseases to decrease exacerbation that could potentially result in hospitalizations.
Home visits are monthly or more often if needed.
There are so many other things it can do, I only hope all who need it also have it available.
Hubby could use a break from all this, ya know?
I agreed to it due to so many spouses getting listening fatigue, my term not his and some days I get it he's there already.
He's wonderful truly though and the last one to admit he could use a break from all this wonderment I portray daily and that's why I said yes.

On this note of another day another doc, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya year!

PS I did get my flu shot today, and you should too if you haven't already, later than previous years for me, but necessary even if only a fifty percent coverage better than nothing!
Oh and my blood pressure was good!
