From ears to rears to no more fears

That would make a heck of a song title, hmm?
But...and this would be an explanation butt, get it rears?
Too bad weirds doesn't really rhyme, oh wait it sort of does, doesn't it? (Actually I know that "weirds" is not a word due to even this Google Blogger underlining it in a red line of cute squiggles.)

Any-who, oh where shall I begin?
I suppose the oldest to the newest, yep.
Best to always begin at the beginning, true?

About three or four weeks ago I had an itchy ear, you know the location where we all have that little notch just above the lobe, but inside of it, I had been in the pool. The pools chemicals are basically balanced although we usually run a bit high in the chlorine which I kinda like due to most critters not being able to live it in then, you know what I mean? Amoebas, insects all that bacteria etc. that could make your swim end you. Okay so I exaggerate a bit, but that's me.
Anyway, I guess now they say a lot of us are allergic or sensitive to chlorine and too much can cause a problem, so many have been switching around here to saltwater systems or bromide or some such thing or other so-called natural ways to keep it all clean.
Lately though have you ever noticed how so much of this "natural" stuff has been recalled, from fruits and veggies, ice cream, and even many all natural dog foods, so I am not too trusting of that natural stuff?
We have a tendency to stick to old tried and true chemically preserved products that seem to rarely, if ever be recalled, odd how that works, and we are still alive, hmm?

So where was I?
Oh that's right, my ear, my left, not that that matters which one.
I have lovely fingernails when I use my Emory board to file them after they break so easily due to hypothyroidism, but I suppose one raggedy one did scratch that itch, maybe caused by too much chlorine, or drying it out too much, in that ear and here I am trying to heal that darn thing all this time. At first and since I have been cleaning it after showers after the pool with peroxide and then applying Neosporin and a cotton ball to protect it, no band-aids can work in that location.
So several times a day and even nights I repeat the process and to date the darn thing has kept me awake with pain until I re-apply the whole shebang again, crazy for something so small to go on for weeks...I finally Googled the problem today and it said it could be not healing due to diabetes, which I am borderline right now, I think its mostly since I get it wet all of the time either from the pool or from my daily showers, but then it says to call the doctor since it could be more serious, so I finally called about it today. And my other more recent Monday derriere issue from the prep for the colonoscopy causing a caustic acid like reaction in my system burning it, seriously, and none of the nurses I asked have any idea why that was.
First my ear was addressed, simplicity at its finest, try corticosteroid, which we had, done and done, pain relived nearly right away, now hopefully it will heal it too?
Tushy burn next, the nurse asked another in my GP's office for an idea, and she came back with something that sounded slightly off since it had been determined that I did not have, during the colonoscopy a problem with what this other product is used for, Preparation-H, hemorrhoids? None for me, thankfully or polyps either.
Hubby was going out for groceries anyway and so we added it to the list. You see, the zinc oxide, corn starch and even the aloe baby wipes were not working, so why not?
So far I am still waiting for it to kick in, and yes I did apply it according to directions...if all else fails I seem to recall something about it working on bags under the eyes, hehe! And you get those from lack of sleep I was told, mine aren't too bad, yet.

On that note of whatever floats your boat, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and now I will kindly ask you to count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
