Repetition of a need to fill out forms...

Today the pool was just right and so I had my fill of that luxurious feeling of exercise but not knowing it was, huh, ya know?
Another hour under my belt of ROM, range of motion, exercise, for the benefit of me!

The day was interesting but bewildering since Hubby's right foot is swollen since he was stung be either a wasp or some other stinging flying insect that landed on our lawn and decided he was a tasty morsel.
Fortunately we had both generic Benadryl pills as well as actual Benadryl topical pen.
Thankfully, it has not gotten worse, but he just took his second dose.

For me my achy issues are not too bad except for my right shoulder and my tummy, but that's old news.
I do go in for my "surgery" Tuesday, but not told yet at what time. The word surgery was put in quotes since years ago it, a colonoscopy, was just considered a "test", nothing major, but now they put you in twilight sleep and I fall asleep when they do that so they call it "surgery"?
My first experience with this procedure was rather interesting back in 1989 when I was first diagnosed with IBS, irrital bowel syndrome that doctor did not put me to sleep but he let me watch instead as the camera went through my colons, big and small, fascinating really. I wonder what changed to make the whole shebang so formal and secretive? Maybe our litigious society? Who knows?
Everything is also so automated these days as we just received a computerized call from the surgery center where I will be having this "procedure, surgery, test", and they wanted me to go to their online site and fill out the pre-surgical info online or I could speak with  a nurse between 8-4PM they called at four thirty, and take 20-30 minutes speaking with her to do the same thing.
Now my issue here is they want all my doctors' names, addresses, and phone numbers, and medications, surgeries, insurance information, the usual, which I have in the computer in WORD due mainly to the quantity of them all and since that is the case I print them out and take them with me whenever I have a doctor's appointment.
In other words the doctor doing this "procedure, surgery, test" has it all than why must I keep passing/filling it out? I have consequently decided to speak with the nurse tomorrow.

According to HIPAA http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/understanding/index.html
Which basically is the privacy act that they all have access to when you ask them; to me it seems like a joke really.
The last time I was hospitalized in 2009 in a semi-private room the nurse stood up front asking me all my personal info since the computer to enter it in was there, ha! And yes there was another woman in the other bed.

I am definitely an open book with all my info, see?

Any-who, on that note of well, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all of your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
