After a day and three
quarters of not having any appetite and eating only about four hundred calories
yesterday, if that and around another couple of hundred three quarters of today,
tonight I ate an entire meal.
A healthy half of a chicken
breast baked a small baked potato with peas and cranberry sauce, hmm good and
staying down just fine.
I had visions of losing tons
of weight with my lost appetite but now it is coming back, oh darn! Oh well!
My only lasting problems
appears to be the rib cage soreness from all the vomiting that I had been
doing.
I Googled it like I do so
many other things and the fact that I did probably cause it with all that
retching makes me at least know the why and not that it was an additional
different problem to be reckoned with.
The advice I gleaned was to
rest, duh, drink plenty of fluids, again duh, and take Advil or Tylenol and so
I did take extra strength Tylenol but it took quite some time to kick in and
even then it was not that significantly helpful; definitely a muscular pull
issue.
Just while trying to help
Hubby with dinner by reaching into the pantry that proved to be painful, but
everything else seems to be okay tummy wise that is, only a little bit of
gurgling and false bathroom calls, but otherwise alright.
Moving on…
Guess what?
I received another 1095-A,
form for Healthcare.gov with the correction I told them about minus the January
subsidy of last year that they had included in the original 1095-A sent in
early February! They had told me it was OK to file even with the mistake so
foolishly I listened to the IRS and now you see what it gets me less refund
monies and a longer wait time since now WE have to fill out an amended form
from the IRS online, which we have been doing and it is currently minimalized
on the bottom of this computer as I write.
Now it was their mistake and
again I am the one needing to do the work for me, of course, but still annoying
just the same.
Moving on again…
On the Florida Blue
front…another grievous mistake by them I called to make sure that my neuro is
on this new insurance since I was assured that he would be, but with all that
has been happening I feel better double checking, so any-who I called their
claims department and after they carefully checked it was determined that two out
of the three addresses for my doctor’s offices were on their plan but the one
that I was going to was not. So I decided to call the doctor’s billing
department and Tina there checked her records and said that they are with them and that she had
billed several clients/patients to them that were with their (FLB) Select plan
like mine, which I clarified specifically since it was not the same as my last
year’s plan so that we knew that we were on the same page. The reason I called
there was a last ditch effort since my six month appointment is scheduled for
next week with doctor smiley and me thinking that if Florida makes me oh so Blue insurance company was correct I was
going have to cancel/ postpone my appointment until I was on Medicare in June.
It really was only a hopeful try and it worked!
It is a sad comment on a
company that my doctor’s billing department knows more about their plans than
the insurance company does itself.
On that note I better take
care of this, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy
good night and ask all of you to kindly count all your blessings and share all
your overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
