Punta Gorda Florida History Park

Every Sunday from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. at our History Park there is a Farmer's Market too.Venders both local and from short distances come together to hawk their wares. Tis the season to venture out to see what the many are finding that is quite lovely and original. If you double click on my pictures they usually become a slide show for you to enjoy and get a closer look-see. Today not only did the venders have their holiday best on so did the park itself with the customary lights and decorative plantings of seasonal flora, take a gander. Also see if you recognize who is riding in that sleigh?

 Me neither, but cute.
Frosty has seemed to have found a way to prevent melting in our Florida warmth; I do believe he is wearing a frosted Christmas tree?

Or I could be wrong and this could be him along with two of Santa's reindeer?
This lady vender above is quite well versed on her products. I believe that is Mabel who will tell you all about her essential oils and their night lights that come in many configurations from stained glass to curved glass to too many to say, you have to see to believe... and they each work together, i.e. oils and lights, to create a lovely scented indoor aglow atmosphere in any home. Her company with Bob is Johnson novelties. You can goto their website: http://www.mjohnsonnovelties.com
Or call @ 941-456-3278 or email: mjohnsonnovelties@hotmail.com
You might be familiar with all the animal rescues out there that find homes for neglected, given up or ill treated animals. Well, until today I was not familiar with bike rescue, apparently they do exist, and are reconditioned newly loved bicycles to purchase from these people who were selling these used ones that apparently they gave some TLC for resale purposes. Googling I could find no more info on them; personally I would go to the park next Sunday from 9-2 if at all interested in them and see if they are there or ask anyone if they know from whence they came? The address of the History Park is 501 Shreve Street in Punta Gorda Florida.

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
