Working hard to get a policy...

After an hour again on hold for Florida Blue I hung up again and called Healthcare.gov, and voila!
I am now enrolled with Florida Blue again with are you ready? No? I will tell you anyway, drum roll please… Blue Select! Yep the same one that they gave me by mistake last year since it states that it is for small businesses, but now it is not so Sangai their representative, told me.
As I was told my subsidy did go up over one hundred dollars, but it is another smoke and mirrors trick, since now all premiums have too!
Even though, I am now purchasing a Gold plan compared to my previous Platinum PPO plan which if you recall was costing me with the monthly subsidy subtracted $561.51 a month with doctors GP’s $15 a visit and specialists $20 a visit $10.00 for prescriptions for ninety days and deductibles in the $850-$2500 range, well that policy is now $831 and change a month subsidy included!
This policy is a Gold plan $494.87 with the monthly subsidy subtracted and has a $25 for GP’s a visit and $60 for specialists and $10 for prescriptions, the deductibles are 0-$3000, without any eye care. But its all for only six months till I go on Medicare, hooray!
So I am saving a bit, but not that much nothing to sneeze at either, $66.62 a month, which is good and does add up!

My goal like everyone else is not to use it too much if possible.
Unfortunately my health problems dictate its use, which was abundantly clear last year.

Moving on…

My pseudo exacerbations of my Multiple Sclerosis have become a regular problem with or without my cooling vest I cannot seem to regulate my workouts these days without collapse…thankfully only temporary thus the name “pseudo exacerbation”, even so it is so frustrating and this time I did place a call to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and they transferred me to our local office three hours up state and over in the middle in Orlando to a woman who I had left a message, but still have not heard back yet.

What I asked is if she had any ideas on how to deal with this too often happening, so I can take more than fifteen minutes of exercise, which is really too much since I collapse after… There has to be an answer, true?

The problem is the recovery time, if it were in minutes or a half an hour, no problem, but sometimes it takes hours, and there’s the problem.
So when we get a situation that we have no idea how to fix we go to a professional or at least someone who has better access than you do to the ones who know.

Patience again, Wednesday I tried the equipment and again I collapsed so now Hubby and Number One came to the conclusion yesterday that perhaps I should just trying walking more with my walker for a while, since it has that transporter safety net, right?

So for now that is what I will do, and maybe I will hear back in the interim from that more knowledgeable person than me and figure out how to make it all work!

On that note of new hope allow me to be the very first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask all of you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
