My point is that I was walking today all over the place with my new high efficiency walker transformer. And no I did not need to transform it into a transporter, but it did get a workout with its seat quite a bit!

At eleven A.M. we arrived over at the rehab and not only socialized with the other partakers of the health and fitness equipment there, but I did my circuit of four pieces of equipment with upping my reps to twice as many as the originals, now able to do four sets of fifteen reps for each of them and nearly tripling my time on the stationary bike!

We had some items to pick up at the grocery and so when our group changed their minds about eating out at one location we decided to eat a wee bit healthier and closer to our next destination Publix and right in their parking lot is a Duncan Donuts, and nope not there but at the Subway attached to that building there, gotcha!

I had my salad with everything but only pepper and oil and vinegar for dressing and on top of that two small scoops of their excellent seafood salad with ice water to top it off!

Hubby had their meatball sub, a foot long which he ate half of and the rest as was my salad is in the fridge. I got the munchies and ate the rest of my salad this afternoon, oops!

Any-who, they have in their parking lot only two handicapped spots and they were both taken but the third one next to them, not a handicap spot was free and so we parked there. I was walking with my walker anyway.

What blew me away and does way too often was what happened only  moments before I was to exit out car… A young petite woman with a Subway bag in her hand ran out of the entrance of the Subway building into the first car parked in the handicap spot!
I was incensed and nearly yelled at her, but they pulled out way too fast and...

Hubby didn’t even see it since he was getting my walker out from the back of our car.

He shook his head when I told him what had just transpired, but it was too late to do anything and I of course agreed, as I have learned to do these last several years that I have been considered, “handicapped” space worthy.

But I did say something when we were inside and the two women behind the counter agreed and said we should report them, but alas it was futile since no license plate number was to be had. It of course it is always nice to hear that others get it why it is wrong to do what they had and illegal in this state and many others if they are caught!

Any-way, we ate most of our lunches with our iced water and then drove over to the Publix to pick up some items that we needed and this was the first time in years that I did not use my scooter in there, and many were very encouraging and telling me how great that was, but even so by then I was truly pooped when we finally got into the car to go home!

Tonight was half price pizza night too and Hubby went up to our pizza place that offers this monthly break and we buy two and freeze one and eat quite a bit of the other.

All in all it was a lovely day.
I bought kale while at the grocery and washed it and ripped it in bite size pieces and washed it in our salad spinner with lemon juice and cold water and spun it until nearly dry… then even patted it more dry and placed it on a cookie sheet, sprinkling it with olive oil and sea salt and baked it in a pre-heated oven of 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, till the edges brown, not burn, let cool, then enjoy! It is a healthy snack!

On that note allow me to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask all of you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
