"The love of your life is right in front of your eyes."

So it's like this I showed Hubby my entitled first of two fortunes and we both stopped what we were doing and stared into each others eyes, for a few seconds...
You see I was looking up and he was looking down and so we got a crick in each of our respective necks and that was that.
But we did hold the gaze for more than a split second, really.
Any-who, my second fortune said, “You will be successful in your career.”
Now that would be great if I truly knew what I wanted to be when I grew up… instead of out, got it?
Sure I have time to think, but how my mind will be working is up for wonderment as we all know…
But dreaming no matter how skewed never ends until you die, if before you might as well be dead…just saying.
For without dreams at any age what is there?
Just a thought.

One of Hubby’s was quite prophetic for all of us, “Wise men avoid troubles while fools search for them.”
His other targeted his younger self, mine too, really, “You are a bundle of energy, and always on the go.”

Seriously, where are those people?
Oh well, life goes on, as all should.
And as many have told me I am my NEW SELF.
Whatever that means…?

I have been told not to live in the past or look back at what once was… but who hasn’t and we all know how tempting it is to remember the better of us, our-selves, as we were…

Gosh what an idea for a movie title? KIDDING!

“The Way We Were,” has already been taken over forty years ago, how time really does fly!
And it was a rather lovely movie with incredible actors in the prime of their careers, Barbara Streisand and Robert Redford, circa 1973. To learn more read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Way_We_Were

A beautiful song from the title too:

“Mmm. Mmm.
Memories, light the corners of my mind
Misty watercolor memories of the way we were.
Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind
smiles we gave to one another
for the way we were.
Can it be that it was all so simple then
or has time rewritten every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
tell me would we? Could we?
Memories, may be beautiful and yet
what's too painful to remember
we simply choose to forget
So it's the laughter we remember
whenever we remember
the way we were.”

On that thought of memories of the way we all were for what we were is why we are who we are today, true?
Of course it is! Insert BIG smile here.

Now I will happily close for this evening and ask all of you to have a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

PS Be careful now, but not fearful. With all the scary Ebola news as well as the murdering monsters internationally , be alert but not paranoid. And I will try to do what I just said too…ha!
