Many wonder why any delays happen with projects, from building homes to playing outdoor sports, to even our mysterious, albeit important to us if not you too and quite simple to share with all of you, but darn Mother Nature is held responsible too often, oh why her, nah WEATHER, plain and simple, has interfered with our grande finale!
We have been experiencing major rain delays all day long, but the thing here in Florida is when we are not having treacherous hurricanes our thunderstorms produce thousands of lightening hits in moments within the storming area, news/weather machines counted nearly 2,500 just a few moments before I started writing tonight! And so it's not the noisy thunder, which is plentiful too, but that deadly lightening, and since we are the lightening capital of the world, we have learned to heed its arrival and take cover indoors! Rain in itself is quite refreshing, but when it is enhanced by thunderous roars, howling to inform you of a lightening strike about to hit, it makes you stop and listen and act all at the same time if you know what's good for you! GET INSIDE! (this pic was to try and show you the rain coming down bubble like into our pool and split screen due to the same effect also into the canal.)
So sadly our newest project is on hold again, and once again I have forgotten to pick up the few supplies I need to create the next mirror effect for one of the two leftover seven inch mirrors, a great rainy day project...DUH!
Today I had a forty-five minute PT with Paula and we worked the entire time on my BPPV, vertigo, and as she explained that we have three levels in our inner ear and we worked on the first today, but I was also given homework to follow-up with once daily with the one exercise of lying down from side to side with keeping a pinpointed area on the wall and staying with my eyes aligned with that while I complete the exercise, three times in each direction, once daily. From there we went over to Office Depot for printer ink and paper then for lunch at Paneras and then Hubby dropped me at home since I was pooped and he took the list that we had compiled to our Pulix grocery to pick up those items.
Just the pool and shed here also getting bombarded by rain as well.
That is our pond and hopefully the rain smashing into the water there is visible? PS notice all that vegetation around the fish pond, no worries for all those birdies! One of Hubby's next projects outside is more trimming back of other overgrown areas, thus is the issue in rainy season in Florida, and even needing to mow lawns in less than a week's time too! So plush, almost like Seattle, nah FLORIDA in rainy season.
That tree above the shed is a wild one on our neighbors empty lot, rather pretty, but it is responsible for the dark sappy streaks on the roof there.
I had asked Hubby to check our rain-gauge which we have had for years and in spite of this rain system hovering over us today, Hubby says we have only had about an inch and half so far. Methinks it is going on its second filling perhaps? We had been rain free for days, so I guess we were due, hmm?
On that note of of there are more mysteries in one's day that cannot become explained sometimes, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask all of you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
PS I have only missed three days of going into the pool these last few weeks! Two were rain/storm related and one was due to a too early PT.
