Early start to the day

For two retirees leaving the house around eight thirty A.M. it is usually for blood work of the fasting  variety.
But today it was my early day for my first official day of physical therapy starting with PT Bryan and parallel bars with leg lifts from a chair and then standing not holding on and using the bar if I needed it, which I did frequently with hands posed above the rails but clung to due to necessity and standing and then lifting just my toes and also bending each leg backwards from the knee; all to the count of twenty reps. The chair was used to rest in between due to dizziness ensuing frequently and my head had to be told not to look down but up and pinpoint a spot on the wall to aid in the dizziness prevention; it reminded me of when I spun in ballet all those years ago, a pirouette.

This whole program took forty-five minutes that I am scheduled for at each one of my upcoming physical therapy sessions, three days a week, except for the next, only 30 minutes due to their tight schedules.
Of course the idea is to make the problem better, but even PT Byran admitted it cannot be cured with MS, i.e. vertigo caused by it.
BVVP is not that serious unless, but can become chronic like mine seems to have become and  along with Ataxia it is no fun at all: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/vertigo/basics/definition/con-20028216

On the brighter side, I have reduced my consumption of my medication Gabapentin from the 1200Mg. to 900 Mg. and now down to 600 Mg.

 Moving on...

After the PT I bought two new bathing-suits at Beall's Outlet, good quality and not seconds at all, one suit was originally $118, but their price was $24.99 with 15% off on Mondays their deeper discount day for fifty and over, the other suit was not originally as expensive, around at only $64, but on sale for $17 and change and even that was 15% off today!
I did try both on in their handicap fitting room, big enough for me and my scooter and the room even had a very comfortable turning radius as well as a seat to transfer to and mirrors just in the right position.

After there we went out for brunch at IHop where it too had been years since we had been there, consequently their choices were breakfasts that were way too large portions, I had a Tuscan, Hubby had a classic, and so although Hubby finished his, more than half of mine was taken home! I took two of my cooling vest cold packs out of the front sections to put into the cooler that we keep in the car that is an insulated bag type that we purchased at Publix and in went the take home container.
After that off to Home Depot for those two mysterious projects that I had hinted at that at this time look as if they have become not only plausible but doable!*

*More to come in the near future...

On that note of trying to get you to stay tuned, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Stay dry my Southwest Florida pals for the rainy season is in full swing!
At least Bertha is NOT coming here or anywhere thankfully!
