Remind me later...

How many of you out there write down things that you need to buy or have to do so you don't forget?
Memory, even in the healthiest of us has a way of testing us daily in our homes, jobs or recreational needs, especially if we are so very busy!

Have you ever felt flustered when trying to remember a date or an occasion?

My Dad had one of the best memories that I can personally recall, ha, respect the pun!
He told me as a young woman what the reason was, he said that his uncanny ability was due to word association, and most incredible people who have that attribute will tell you that or another similar memory game in your brain. He remembered people that he hadn't seen in decades!

In many ways I think I inherited his lovely remembering, since it had served me very well in business with names and phone numbers.
And here, nightly, I seem to have vivid recollections of times gone by... personal ones that is...
Of course there are no fact checkers and one might remember something one way, while others may feel that it happened another way...

Thankfully, this life of mine is not one people need to swear to in a court of law! Ha!

So far it is interesting to me and probably only to me, but definitely not extraordinary, maybe to me again.
But its not done yet!

Although, memories are one thing and usually deal with past experiences, but now at my age with Multiple sclerosis my daily word recall baffles me at times...a description I found of what I am trying to say helps Hubby determine what I need am missing to complete my thought processes, aggravating though...
But he being of the same age now, yes for the next four months we are both sixty-four, but he will then be sixty-five!
So his memory too gets disrupted at times, at our ages whose doesn't, truly?
I suppose though he mostly completes me,  sentence/word wise that is.
We are otherwise respectful of our differences and that has served us both well for forty seven years, this August 31st, yep we met on that date back in 1967...
We were being trained by Ohrbach's in Paramus NJ while within the week were starting our senior years of two different high schools. His was Riverdell and mine was Emerson, actually if we both weren't working that senior year we would have never met!
Someday, I will tell when we had our first date.

On that tantalizing tidbit of a wondering note, allow me to be the very first to wish a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, you hear?

I remember that you can't.
Did reading louder help?
An odd joke.
Someday perhaps I will do a video blog, many do them...
Nah, not for me...
