Happy St. Paddy's Day! And some other tibits...

" St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated on March 17, the saint’s religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for over 1,000 years. On St. Patrick’s Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. Lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink and feast–on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage."

My day...
Today I was still not feeling well, with my fever and current yuckiness and so I called up my doc's office early, before she or her nurse would be in.
I left a message on the nurse Cindy's voice mail telling her that the Coricidin after a week's time did not appear to be helping me; and that was around eight-ish in the A.M.

Shortly before noon when I hadn't heard from them, I decided to call that 800 number on the medicine box and ask how long this medicine usually takes to work.
Their customer service representative was surprisingly well informed.
And said the medication is only to be used a week and that it sounded like what I needed to do was to see my doctor and get another medication or even a prescription.

I agreed and told her that I had a call into my physician's office and was just waiting for their return call.
By the time I got in touch with Cindy she wanted me to come in tomorrow.
But I said what do I do in the meantime the medicine I am on can no longer be taken I have a slight fever I said and a cough, she asked me to hold on and got me an appointment for two thirty today.

Dr. Nord was very thorough I  had an uncomfortable nostril specimen taken to see if I had a different strain of flu than what I was inoculated for and a chest X-ray to make sure that even with my pneumonia shot I didn't have some other strain of pneumonia.

Fortunately, that narrowed the possibilities and since I did not have the flu or pneumonia but a bacterial respiratory infection. I am currently now on Cipro 500 MG. 2X a day for only a week and Mucinex every four hours.

Moving on...

What I  tried to tell all of you yesterday was that Hubby has begun a new project that sadly I am not being much help with due to how I have been feeling and because of me  is why it will be more than likely take longer than similar projects have taken in the past... but he has taken pictures and will continue as it progresses and when all is said and done I will post them all!

On that note of a different float, huh? Now allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
