Around and around we go where we stop nobody knows

Florida Blue is making me oh so blue!
Today I received a new bill for my insurance premium, but sadly it is for the policy that I have been trying to discontinue since January 14th when I found out none of the neurologists I need to use are on the Select plan, they are on the Options one.
That is why I have been trying hard to change to that plan!
But receiving the wrong plan bill for the third time/month is what made me call them again!
And sadly I have been on the phone with them since 3P.M.  EST and while I write this it is now, 5:49P.M.
The first fellow tried to tell me since I have been on the Options plan since February first I owed them the difference from the policy, huh? I said no one would take my money which would have been less than sixty bucks in the beginning of this month and they told me to use the Select plan, which I have been doing without a choice it appeared, and now this guy wants the difference payment for the one I did not use since there was no way to use it, on two days before the new month? I said I paid for the Select plan for those two months and was told to use it and did use it, not the Options since I had no card or policy number in order to use that!
I am still on hold for when after I spoke around in circles to too many others to have catalogued, with each one telling me that Health Care. Gov is the one that actually bills me and so after I was given a bogus payment number I called Health Care. Gov, getting their number their online site, and they said what I knew was right that once they find you the subsidy they turn it over to your choice of insurance and they, not them bills you! Well, isn’t that correct, but not according to Florida Blue!

The last one who gave me the bogus billing number I thought had the right info that my Options will go into effect on March first and my new bill will be generated for that. I said but don’t we have a problem since I have two doctor’s appointments next week and I won’t have a policy number or card to give to the doctors’ offices

They again told me to use the Select until the new card comes…

The person in customer service at Florida Blue answers when you call the toll free number on your bill 1-877-352-2583 what it says is pay by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Call toll free (the number above), now really what would you think?
I thought they were billing, but oh no they are not!
Talk about run arounds, I am getting too old for this and in too much pain for this, but I am quite determined to get this done in spite of ALL this!

Now a young woman who finally answered has told me that they are open until 9 P.M. and that she will be calling me back tonight with the right people to pay and that I will be able to pay with my credit card like I did the first time, since this is another new policy and that it will go into affect as soon as that is done, TA DA!

ONE CAN ONLY HOPE!

I am so concerned that none of them will follow through…

The young woman called back and we are in another three way call that is with Health Care. Gov! (THE FOURTH TIME!!!!)

Been there, done that, actually we are waiting for that other person who has us on hold!

The outcome should be any minute and I will be asking all of you to stand by because I have to publish this…

Well, here is the ending of what has transpired, I am now told that for the entire month of March I only owe only $112.12 for the new policy, and they will bill me, huh?

On that note of G-d help us all…if this is where modern medicine insurance policies are going!
