SHOCKING!

Did you hear the one about the congressman and the reporter? Well, the way we saw it was this young fellow, Scotto, the reporter, was interviewing a state representative from New York, by the more than appropriate name of Grimm.
Catching him as he was leaving the president's state of the union address last night, and questions are asked rapidly about after the address and he tossed in an additional one about a controversy that the congressman has been involved in; in effect trying a hard hitting device with a bit of smoke and mirrors, before the congressman would know what was hitting/happening to him, or so he hoped... Shockingly for all of us to hear on mike, he, the elder of the two, the representative, threatens the young media man; who was just trying to do his job, with saying to the man/boy: I will break you in half like a boy, you are not a man and throw you over this balcony; paraphrased by me, with my memory this is not the exact wording but the gist of it...
All who heard this and it was quite clear
to most all with a TV as well as me at the time and all the repeat news casts of the incident. To be fair, the congressman apologized after to the greener than he or any of us would have thought being chosen for those front-lines, at the White House, none-the-less, having that primo assignment. I'm not saying he did anything wrong, who am I to say anything of that nature? Only thing is he didn't get the answer, but the congressman who insisted he didn't have enough time to go off topic, meaning the state of the union address... oddly enough had the time to threaten the lad, curiouser? Just a whole BIG misunderstanding, hmm? I've been there and done that, nearly daily! And I'm probably thrice that reporter's age.

Moving on...
Any-who, today was a ridiculously unsafe day to be out and about from our state panhandle to the entire northeastern portion of these united states, the freeze was on!
The most horrendous and beyond belief Atlanta Georgia had snow and freeze on their roadways, which caused a seven hundred car pileup on I75, five died there but more nationally have been killed and so many more hospitalized.
Children in and around that city were safely redeposited back into their schools for a sleep over; due to it being safer for that than trying to transport them by bus to their homes.

On my own home front in southwest Florida, our temps did not make it into the seventies, only topping out at sixty-four degrees Fahrenheit!
But without trying to brag too much, by this weekend we have once again been promised the low eighties!

For me personally, I seem to have begun, this week, in a weird new sleep pattern, waking up around one-thirty A.M., like last night or two-thirty A.M. like two nights ago and staying up, due to my Cervicogenic headache and eye pain added into the mix! But what is truly odd, it is an every other night event, and so tonight I will more than likely be able to sleep till five-ish or six-ish in the A.M. Sure I will. Very tired now and no nap this time, it should work if I can just make it to ten or eleven...

On that note of my version of ODD NEWS!
Allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
