Making your own excitement happen!

Would you believe that since October 23rd. 2013, I have left my sanctuary less than a half dozen times and those times were to the doctor, for a MRI and sure, also for a haircut?

Unbelievable, you say, that is some of you and others are wondering why and others are not interested either way, hmm?

Well, the reasoning is simple, when you cannot maintain an upright position you cannot utilized vehicles seats, wheelchair seats, or anything that expects you to remember how to sit up straight, but a flight attendant may have lamented on your last get-away! "Keep your seat in an upright position", sure cars allow for adjustments but even with a pillow and heat pads it is not that comfortable. I am practicing though to sit at the dinette table. You see, Hubby has been bringing my meals to me in the recliner with a tray! Yep, many would love the indulgence of being waited on, but it gets old fast!
And in my case about two months ago, really!

Sure I love Hubby bringing me things including all the medication that I am on...YUCK!
Damn this herniated disc and Multiple Sclerosis, and all my other maladies too!

But sure I am 'grateful' for, him, and our good to us number one son who keeps us on his radar in spite of living so far away and working full-time, having a great girlfriend and going back to college; and of course my laptop on my reclining tummy chubby bump making communication easier with all of you and of course the affection from our darling canine, Skipper, and the fact that we own a lovely cheerful tiny waterfront home with beautiful window views!

The title refers to the fact that previously we made sure we would go to anything going on locally, from crafts and arts, car and boat shows to home and garden to flea markets etc... But with me out of commission, and missing my three days a week with independent exercise and finding new restaurants to test or going back to our favs... Hubby over these months has brought home take out, from Chinese to pizza to comfort, but not that often... I missed one that we have not taken out from before but both have enjoyed. Oddly enough an old school chum from NJ made me remember how much I missed this cuisine, he lives and works now in Thailand and for some reason we spoke on FB more today than we have ever, I think...this is actually really silly, but for some reason, maybe I felt that this evening it would be nice to have Thai food, and the Thai CafĂ© is less than a mile from here so we called in out two duck orders, Hubby's crispy and mine curry, and a side of crab soup and here I sit happily refreshed with another real world contact!

Unfortunately, I have been getting depressed with the delay of my physical therapy until after February 1st, I know it's only now a week away and seriously HOORAY!
Future bodily torture never sounded sooooooooooooo appealing!

The only good part aside from what I mentioned above is that all of you are here and again if I haven't thanked you enough, please be assured that you are THANKED!

On that note of not too bad a note allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
