Actually, more like 'dumb luck', many of you must have heard about the hacking of Target's customers credit and debit cards from purchases made there; forty million were hacked from Black Friday through December 15th!
Well, even though I purchased this laptop from them, Target, December 8th with my Visa credit card it was done online and picked up in the store that same day; online was considered safe!
And even the issue with the price being lowered and qualifying for the new price and receiving the refund again on our same credit card that was on December 16th in their store and it actually went through on December 18th!
Dumb luck, hmm?
Bit another bullet.
PS our $12.20 12V laptop charger came today that was bought on Amazon and it had nine out of ten stars and all the comments were positive online. Hubby in the end did that order and so when number one son called today and I let him know what was going on; he asked about whether or not the comments were positive about the charger, he warned to be careful on there. Hubby had been fortunately, reading all those comments and I made sure it was compatible for our laptop, our model number was listed. And today I made sure it fit the plug and it did!
Moving on ...
Today one of my many Facebook friends had listed a program to help you not get into financial trouble.
Well, the best rule of thumb, in my long experience and opinion, is not to spend more money than what you have! Especially with credit, know you have the money to pay it all off when the bill comes in!This voice of mine comes from a sincere knowledge from trial and error.
Always keep track of every penny; none of us are bottomless money bags.
More people get into financial debt due to not planning ahead, period.
Generosity is wonderful if you don't hurt your own family's needs in the process; family first and always.
There are so many ways to help with getting in there physically, if you can and spending time helping others by doing small acts of kindness...
That is my reasoning for even watching my healthcare needs being accepted by my insurance or within our personal budget; more people lose homes and so much else due to finances having to do with illness and that is one of my many reasons for my overly cautious concerns...
And so far so good!
On that note of so much allow me to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
