Tramadol 50MG. 2X a day?

I was prescribed this morning after another sleepless night!
Due to my normal concerns about being over medicated and also about drug inter-action... and so I
Googled that possibility.
Online I found out something disturbing that medications such as Gabapentin and Baclofen which I am taking are contra-indicated with Tramadol due to a moderate suppressing of the respiratory system. All the nurse told me was to not take any Tylenol.
To verify what I read I called our local pharmacist! My neuro's office was closed already and she is the one that prescribed all of those medications!
The pharmacist confirmed my concerns.
Fortunately, I have now removed the other medications from the mix, actually Hubby did that for me...

Tomorrow I will contact my neuro to ask if my concerns were warranted, after all he stated "moderate" and perhaps I am being too cautious? The pharmacist actually thought I should get rid of the Tramadol and just take the other stuff until I explained about the reason of my sleepless painful nights and days, thus the reversal concept!

On that note of some curiosity allow me to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
