Heavy meds in use here, MRI scheduled, and a funny joke!

Yep, I am back on the Gabapentin, but just for bedtime though, one 600 MG. I read where it's used for this kind of pain and it did seem to help with last night's sleeping a bit! As well as extra strength Tylenol 2 to 3 times a day as needed and Baclofen, I am back up to 60 MG. or less two to three sets of twenty miligrams a day...! And I did not go back to the walk-in clinic, after all...
My MRI is scheduled for tomorrow morning, finally!

Moving on...
Now here's the joke...

Hubby went over to Publix, our grocery store, to pick up the ingredients for a Caesar salad, plus a couple of other items, seven in all...and so when acquired he stood on the check-out line, for ten items or less ... but the woman in front of him had at least twenty!
And so Hubby being a gentleman when a woman behind him only had one item, a bottle of water, he offered for her to go ahead of him, and she thanked him and noticed what he would be making, a Caesar salad.
She even said that her husband was the better cook than her and felt that he would know how to make that and that he would be home later from the jail.
Hubby hearing that and being a retired deputy went into a long spiel about how he knew some people who worked at the jail and about him being retired from law enforcement and on and on he went...

Well, the young woman said that her husband didn't work there it appears that he was actually being released from there tonight! Bud, dump, bum... TRUE story! Hubby was a bit speechless with this revelation... another proof positive that no one should ever assume anything, ha!BIG SMILE HERE!
Consequently, silence then ensued as she quickly left with her paid for water bottle... and Hubby paid for our items... double HA!
