We are proud to announce that
Hubby is feeling 95% better!
He has had two good nights of
sleep.
Out of the three prescribed
medications he only took the one twice and none today!
He has found that the TENS
machine: (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation; a technique used to
relieve pain in an injured or diseased part of the body in which electrodes
applied to the skin deliver intermittent stimulation to surface nerves and
block the transmission of pain signals. Thanks to: http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/TENS That was for any who might not know.) is the most beneficial for
his injury’s helping it to feel better and he wears it as much as he can…
His X-rays were taken
yesterday for his left shoulder and chest and so far no news we are hoping
means it is good news!
Today he searched for a new
insurance company and it appears that as of January 1st he will be
with Florida Blue Medicare and I am working on that too…with the same agent and
it does look like I will be utilizing Florida Blue for my needs in January as
well…
His next appointment with his
doctor is next week for the follow-up and he does like this guy and now with
the Florida Blue he will be able to keep him, since all of Millennium will not
be taking Humana Gold Plus anymore, actually after December or there about, but
will be taking Florida Blue, he checked.
And that is a point of
contention with us now…
You see, I don’t want him
lifting my wheelchair into our car; it weighs forty-seven pounds that is until
he gets a clean bill of health from his doctor that is that his shoulder is
good to go!
But he is insisting that we
are returning to the gym/rehab on Monday and his appointment isn’t until
Wednesday, you see the dilemma?
It doesn’t appear at this
time that he broke it, but even soft tissue damage takes more time to heal than
that would be…
He was born with a stubborn
streak, a German all the way, and I was warned when I married him by even our sister-in-law
who said that his brother, who she had five years already in, being married to him,
was the same way…
My feeling is this, allow
time to heal his injury and get the assurance from the doctor before doing
literally heaving lifting, and I don’t think that is too much to ask?
What would you do?
I know many will say let him
decide.
And more than likely that is
the way it will turn out, but if he hurts himself or makes it worse I demand
dibs on being able to say "I told you so!"
Ken ayina hora, I don’t
really want to jinx him, but if he is not willing to listen to reason…still never!
On that note of we will see
what we will see, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy
good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your
overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
