Express Scripts who is my
mailing prescription company, since they took over from Medco in June and I pay all my
bills online including theirs.
Whenever I receive my
medication I go to my online bill pay, at my bank site and pay the one that had
been delivered, but oddly enough each time they have been adding up each one as
if I hadn’t paid them at all!
The tally was not earth
shattering, since I get a ninety day supply for ten bucks, great deal, hmm?
Some are even less like the
one for only $5.86, but here’s the problem when I called them in this nearly
month that I have been paying them they said they had not received one single
payment, which the tally to date is $45.86, plus my now my additional $10 from
yesterday saying that I owed them $55.86, instead of just the ten from
yesterday’s delivery, due to them saying
that so far I have not paid when I heard that they were not receiving them and
now I am waiting on this last ten spot to send, got that?
So I felt a call should go into
my banking online dept. for Bank of America, which this time thankfully has
great records as I do too, with each item categorized and each one has a
confirmation number which I print out for myself and had at home too…but I do
not have the actual check that they mail for me and online there is no way to
access any of those checks to verify that they did cash them, but my bank has
them with proof that Express Scripts stamped them with their stamp and cashed
or deposited them, got that?
And so, Dennis from Bank of
America in NC was kind enough to contact them and we with Eleanor from Express
Scripts discussed in a three way conversation the problem.
Eleanor insisted that they
did not have the payments and Dennis insisted that they did!
We even went over the account
number, which was correct, but even though the address was on all of my
prescriptions of where the bank was to mail my payments, Eleanor said it was
off by one digit and there, in her mind, was where the problem lies, notice I
said lies, appropriate…You see, the address I stated was all
over every one of my prescription delivery slips, as well as the proof from Bank of America
that they cashed and or deposited them.
She also claimed that this
enormous Federally funded business through my pre-existing insurance program
that I pay monthly for and had a five hundred dollar deductible for my
medications, which I met earlier in the year for the year to get the price on
the these specific meds so reasonably… that they do not have a fax machine!
Since Dennis who was willing to fax his absolute proof that they cashed my
checks over to them, but oops that was impossible it will have to go through
the mail; this incredible unknowledgeable person representing their company of
Express Scripts stated over and over again! You see, than it would have been
handled in a timely fashion, but now it will not!PS They told Dennis it would have to go to me then to them! WHAT!!!!!?????
Today, I did receive an email
on my bank site telling me that all four transactions are being sent directly
to me with both sides of the checks with Express Scripts’ stamp on each one all
paid in full, in a timely fashion on receipt of my medications. I feel odd not
paying this last one, but to who?
If they are insisting that
they don’t have my money, who does?
Could they have a thief in
their midst?
Someone who is pilfering small
minuscule amounts at teensy weensy bits at a time, adding up to a major amount?
Eleanor did give me an
address to send the proof to and since I have not received my proof in that
snail mail, yet. Gosh, it was just yesterday this all went down; I will be
verifying that address too, wouldn’t you?
All in all, again I feel that
people are not up to snuff in their chosen professions, although, I must admit
Dennis behaved as a professional all the way and while we were put on hold several
times by this Eleanor he commiserated with me and understood my plight with
dealing with this company! He was very honest and a fine representative for my
much maligned bank, if one can change an image; he would be that one!
On that note of another wait
and see, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good
night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages
with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
update:
Today 7-27-13 my payments have officially been credited to my account, according to Julie in Minnesota and according to her that was as of 7-19-13 all items were credited, and there is a billing dept fax number, odd how Eleanor knew absolutely none of this, which Julie gave to me and I did verify it is what it is, a fax line! The bank has been notified and I have paid for my last delivery!
