Knowing one's self is not always easy!

Sure it is!
Does anyone else argue with themselves?
But that suggests the answer to the long ago question about trying to find one’s self.
What does that really mean?
Are we lost?
Like when you are in the car and going in the wrong direction.
Or is it more oblique with being truly trying to know who you are?
Either way, at times, that can be difficult.
We discussed existence previously and some of us are still a bit invisible, but I am sure that you are working on solving that with my tools that I suggested to all of you then. But this is a more non-tangible and less easy to put your finger on sort of thingy.
Why, one might ask?
Not me, but you might.
You see, other than the actual being lost scenario, finding one’s self can be by a trial and error process.
If one thinks themselves an artist or a writer or a entrepreneur you may feel the necessity to experiment by taking classes or going to meetings, teaching you the how’s and what-fores these careers might entail and most importantly if you show an aptitude to make them work for you.
Just like any education, to do your best you must know the hows and whys and wherefores of what it takes to succeed.
But with the more sublime, knowing one’s self that too may become an experiment, volunteer and see if that makes you feel as it should, like a good fit and better than when you are not there.
Look at yourself in a mirror and critically tell yourself what you like and don’t like about you.
Not just you’re physical attributes, but your personality, inner components too.
Then, sit and write on the computer or on a legal pad, draw a line down the middle, with the headings of pluses and minuses, since you will now write down your very own pluses and minuses about you, yep only you.
Then once you have done all that, write again how to change anything that you were not happy about on the next sheet of paper and print out your computer pages.
Once you have completed the task… now listen very carefully, since this is of the utmost importance… find a very sturdy metal container that you can take outside, an empty metal garbage can will do if you have one, if not a waste paper basket in metal too will do, take it out to the driveway, which will do if the car is far enough away, and with your list…wait … now go back in and grab a lighter from the kitchen or wherever you keep them, matches will do… and once you are all set, check the wind direction and make sure it is a calm night not windy at all… place those lists in the metal cylinder and take those lit matches or lighter to the top piece of paper, one that should be sticking out slightly and light that!

Now listen again, monitor the flames until the can has nothing, but cool ashes in it, even then douse with water or sand or both.
Take a long deep breath and thank whatever deity or none, then yourself, that you believe in and realize that no one has the right to tell you how to find yourself, since it has been my personal experience that we all already know where we are! And you can take that to the bank that is the bank of trusting your own instincts!

On that note of what, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
