What I always forget and now this is something we all should write down, is ‘what a difference a day makes!’
I knew that answer would come to me and it sure did!
Pharmaceutical companies love to help people who cannot pay the high co-pays, even with insurance, and incomes for some can be as high as 65K a year to meet their criteria’s, which ours isn’t and so…
When my prescription company called to tell me that they had combined Express Scripts with Medco, I said I already knew, since everyone at Medco had told me.
Any-way, the woman there was very nice, Patricia and not unlike Naomi this morning that got all my other prescriptions taken care of this morning that was from Franklin Lakes NJ, not far from where I grew up…
Patricia listened to my tales of woe and in the end she looked up who was the manufacturer of Nexium, Astra Zeneca. Actually, I could have except for one little problem we had no electricity for a few hours today due to the power company replacing a pole and this phone call was on our old fashioned plug in line, since cordless do not work when the power goes out! That is why I was happy that during our hurricane that we had one of these oldies since all the cell towers went down too!
And according to the little pre-test for me meeting the criteria on the phone with Astra Zeneca and we meet their criteria for free Nexium! You only had to have income less than fifty thousand a year.
They had the application online, which I had printed out and is filled out already with all the necessary documentations for proof, taxes, medications, printout of my card and my new prescription, with a ninety day supply, plus three refills that the nice gastro doctor had ready lickety split!
And my new Gabapentin 600mg. 3X a day was filled for $4 at the local pharmacy with eleven refills!
Ta DA! All other medications co-pays are doable for less than forty bucks for all!
Sorry, for my bad behavior yesterday, stress is so exhausting, but you all know that.
On that note of not much note, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and we will too and next time please be here or be square, ya hear!?
