If thinking positive helps one's health, than...

Why aren’t more people cured? Or do they mean they will be happier going to their grave? Nah, but not such an odd thought, okay weird, just plain weird, but that’s me, OKAY! If I had a dime for every time I heard people say that they are making the best out of things; when all is going to hell in a hand-basket, and nothing actual does change for them, oh yeah, it gets worse for them; than I would be a millionaire! Please start sending me those dimes… The other thing that baffles me is the expression that I am guilty of using myself, in my sweeter times…making lemonade out of lemons; gosh, is there anything else that you can make it out of, please tell me? Geez, all lemons aside isn’t that just the sappiest? Sure laughter is the best medicine according to Reader’s Digest, but scientifically have we seen the results of such testing? Although, Norman Cousins swore by the power of the Marx Brothers copy and paste this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marx_Brothers et al…he claimed that they, those funny men above, single-handedly cured his Ankylosing Spondylitis! That was back in 1979. Cousins died of heart failure back in 1990, just a little over ten years later. His book about himself healing was made into a movie in 1984 with Ed Asner playing him and it was called, An Anatomy of an Illness. To read more about him the purveyor of happy makes healthy, copy and paste this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Cousins Since those days many have subscribed to his feelings, but many are still unconvinced. Well, I hate to go against the grain and the few of us who are not oh so tame, but I am sure that laughter is a temporary fix for many things, but I still cannot believe it is a cure for any of us who are lame. Ya know what I think? I know you really don’t. I believe, now go with me here, it is an underhanded but civilized way that people who have had enough of hearing us ill ones complaining or just saying how it really is, not how we wish it to be… they espouse this brainwashing manifesto to turn their lives into more cheerfulness but let us continue for us to think that somehow if we think happy positive thoughts all of a sudden it will all of a sudden make it all alright, meanwhile their lives are happier and healthier due to them not having to put up with us! TA DA! I suppose that’s what makes them caregivers and martyrs, although not so much since we have smiles on our faces in spite of all the pain even when we are blind and lame. Just a thought, an awful horrid one I must admit. But based on any and all possibilities; but I am just thankful that Hubby has never once said to me to just grin and bear it, he has more compassion than that! And he knows when I am exhausted or need this or need that… and most days I only vent on here not at him. As I have said before this thingy is quite cathartic. On that who knows what allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and to share those overages with you know who, and we will too! And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?!
