Earlier today we went out on a journey to find a plan for our phones that would not break the bank, ours that is.
We began our travels by Hubby’s determination of choice Wally World’s cellular counter an always bustling locale not too deep within the bowels of the superstore, sort of a southern exposure, up front and slightly off towards the western hemisphere of the business structure.
Once it was our turn the young woman there was not one to lead you astray, good for her, she didn’t know for sure if any plans were available that met our strict criteria and so she said she would check.
Jennifer another associate spoke directly to us and said they did not have anything, but that Sears might since they handled the Consumer Cellular plan that I mentioned.
Hubby was still not convinced and was sure that he could find one better to meet our needs… and he wanted us to try Best Buys first and they too said no nothing like Consumer Cellular had price wise, and so Hubby’s determination resistance felt that Sam’s Club too should get into the act and the fellow there said he thought that what I said was not possible and that his only deal was for seventy bucks, five more than what we had! IDIOT!
Hubby finally agreed to try Sears and so we did, at first a group of employees were having a coffee clutch on the floor just shooting the breeze in the TV department and ignoring us. Hubby asked if someone could help us and even told them that what they were doing was not right, but even so one fellow did come from within the group and offered to help us. It was a young man named Justin and he sure was very helpful, but Hubby felt that even though we should go out into the mall and check with some other and we did, ATT, Verizon, and even Boost and none came close to what we needed or wanted to pay, that is except Consumer Cellular, BOORAH HUBBY!
The first one I had Googled at home yesterday.
Hubby finally realized that I was right and we now have two new phones that we went back to Justin to buy, he gets a slight commission, plus he sold another to an older gal than us who never had one after we told her about our comparison journey, and will be saving over thirty bucks a month! TA DA!
They are simple but have all the bells and whistles that we need and a camera too, now I cannot forget mine!
And so as you can well imagine we are both exhausted although I cannot figure that out since I wasn’t pushing me in the wheelchair, Hubby was, all over those places in and out of the mall and parking lots and stores; not to mention having to take the wheelchair in and out of the car too!
And yes, we are now BIG BROTHER accessible; I imagine there is a GPS within it or some type of ability to track them, which at this point in life with either of us possibly getting some form of dementia… that could be a good thing, hmm?
Who knows for sure, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all those blessings and share those overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?!
Go Baltimore Ravens!
