Memories in music can cause you to...

Swoon, giggle, smile, laugh, catch your breath or cause tears to drizzle down your cheeks and make you cry…music is powerful. Songs have words that are created in poetic form. Many are written with personal reminiscences intertwined in most of the stories. It warms one's heart to hear others say what you feel; the visualizations are so robust, at times you may think that the lyricists are reading your mind with their right-on expressions, no longer yours…but shared with the world. The joy is pure elation, the sadness, palatable. And in reality you don’t really mind who knows that you feel as you do. For we as people have these emotions and should never ever be ashamed or meant to feel that way. Commonality is good not bad; and to think that music is international and has brought all kinds of cultures together throughout history. Speak of powerful… if that is not; I don’t know what is. Most of us relate songs with personal times in our histories, such as romantic tunes for your significant others and sadness of losing a family member when there were better happier carefree times. Laughing is good and I can remember nonsense songs that I led on the camp bus, making us all get silly. Some silly songs make us sad though, since we may recall the person we sung them to is no longer with us. But focusing on the smile that it brought to the face that you sung it to, takes that sadness away! Tonight, is a bit of a painful one, since my shoulders are misbehaving and I will have to end this chat early… but since I got the ball rolling why don’t you go down your own memory lanes with songs that brought out your happiest and most fun moments in your blips of time… And enjoy them all. On that note of some note, I hope, allow me to be the first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all of your blessings and share all those overages with you know who and we will too! And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?!
