There's a sun up in the sky, but I don't know why, stormy weather... me oh my...

“Don't know why there's no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather
Since my man and I ain't together,
Keeps rainin' all the time”

The actual lyrics to that wonderful old song, thanks to:Just copy and paste this site:

My rendition is slightly different and my man and I are still together and he is right here, just in the other room, actually!

Fear reigns high too with the crackling of lightening and the booming of thunder, scaring the ‘bejeebers’ out of me and I bet you too!
A word that is also of a terminology that is circa proper, but of a time long gone by...

Sometimes I wonder if I was reincarnated with my older than me knowledge of such words, although it could be the wonderful Saturdays watching thirties and forties movies on channel nine, WOR TV in New York and the program of Million Dollar Movie, all those years ago in the 1950’s and 60’s and its offerings…Oh, or perhaps having parents much older than all my friends parents, at least ten to fifteen years older than theirs… or perhaps all those old mysteries I so enjoyed reading, who knows…

But sometimes I wonder why, ya know?
That is, why I know some things…
I kid, not irrespectively of being on occasion, nearly that I am an Idiot Savant with knowing answers, miraculously, on Jeopardy that I do not recall learning in school.
Hubby wonders too, a bit odd.

It is just plain fun to try to come up with the right ones, and those puzzles on Wheel of Fortune too we both enjoy, old people’s stuff, and something my parents used to watch, perhaps, only a tradition?

There are worse ways to waste time, and not as educational I suspect, but as we all know mindless entertainment helps us chill in horrendous times…
We all need diversions to take time-outs from our own realities then… And there is really no harm in that, and mentally or emotionally a more helpful way to come back to a situation to deal with it later on. I presume that you would come back to it as we all must, bad things that need attention rarely, if ever, go away, really!
You all know that, I am more than sure.

Our weather has calmed considerably since I shut this techno marvel down earlier.
It took a long lull for me to turn it back on even with it being on a surge protector I feel safer shutting down, not unlike many of you too!

Moving on…
Aurora Colorado brought out all the heroes again and people to talk to one another and feel closer in a harsh reality of a horrible mutual circumstance.
If that is what can be considered the silver lining in a dark stormy cloud, I suppose any and all spins are worthwhile to think about… when sadness and horror continue to try to take over.
Did that make any sense?

People are reacting like they did after many other similar caliber disastrous moments with proving to be fearless to go to the theaters and to show that being afraid is not a good emotion and that no one can take any of our freedoms away!
Theaters mostly are taking precautions for safety though and many are not allowing costumes with masks in.

Whatever it takes I say.
The most important thing is to do whatever your comfort zone is.

Years ago, Hubby and I chose to rent movies at home, since neither one of us are comfortable in theaters any longer.
Mostly due to having to get up often for lavatory breaks or just to stretch or what have you, and cost effectively we found watching in the comfort of our own home to be more practical, money-wise.

Everyone does their own thing, which I do believe is wonderful! And don’t stop and don’t ever let anyone or anything prevent you from doing what you truly want to do and are capable of doing.

On that note of a wee bit of preachiness, allow me to be the first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
