Yesterday, was Charles Dickens' 200th Birthday and I missed it, and oh boy; do I have coal on my face, ha!

Charles Dickens' two hundredth birthday would have been yesterday. But that can’t be right, no one yet lives to 200, do they, than why do they say that and celebrate that, kidding, but it does make you wonder, hmm? And the reason I knew that was due to all the reminders here on my welcome page and also on the crawl on the TV screen in the waiting room at the hospital yesterday! Truly Chuck so very sorry and darn I won’t be here for your next tri-centennial! Did you know that he was indirectly responsible for the expression of, what a Dickens’s of a day I am having and sure most of us have used it?

Any-who, my day yesterday went all right I suppose as those days do go…, it has been a while since I had to go into a hospital, even as an out patient, for a mini procedure like mine was yesterday, the Stereotactic needle biopsy.
I was treated very well by all the participants in the positioning, numbing, sticking, and pulling out of the sample from my better endowed than ten years previously of my womanly appendage, AKA my right breast.
No, I am not blushing with using the proper anatomical name of what half the earth’s population has in common.
Not even a wee bit of a cringe here, ha!
Well, maybe a little… I really didn’t think I would be writing to you all tonight since all I remember is lying down around eight P.M. last night in bed and falling asleep and then awaking at what I thought was two fifty-five A.M., but on closer observance it was only 12:55 A.M. but I was up and this thing was warming up and I had coffee dinging in the microwave and so with my ice-pack nestled on my chest, on and off for twenty minutes was the order, and I had already had my quota of Tylenol of eight in 24 hours and so that was a no go… my day started early and I have not slept since!
And yes, my biopsy locale is sore as well as that arm and elbow too and so I am going to call it quits a bit earlier. I got a nice phone call from Connie at the hospital wondering how I was doing and a weird letter from the doctor’s office saying that my report of 1-6-12 needed to be discussed so make an appointment and I called and no one called me back yet (the postmark was yesterday) and the same letter I received when this all began…hmm scary, dejevu; or perhaps, Ground Hog day, again?

On that, another oddity of my life, allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share the overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
